What one item makes your life a bit nicer?

I have just read a thread about making life easier. It's always meal planning and household appliances.

Anyway it got me thinking whilst having a shower... I love my Bluetooth shower speaker. Being able to listen to my own music in the shower is great.

I don't need it. I can obviously live without it but I really love that little thing!

I also have dogs. I think it's a given that animals and children bring joy.

You have to recommend something to make life nicer.

What are you choosing?

Wow, I’ve had a V-pillow for years (probably more than 30 years, when my sister got one during her first pregnancy) because I love reading in bed and it makes it so much more comfortable. I wouldn’t be without it. But I never realised there were all these other things you could do with it!

My coffee machine. I make myself a latte every day and I love it!

Oh yes! This as well! I absolutely love my Kindle!

My Kindle too. I recently upgraded from a paperwhite to an oasis, and I love it. It seems to fit in my hand so well, I love that you can click it or tap it, left or right handed etc. No lag at all and just a lovely thing.

My kitchen aid. I love it, I love baking and it makes everything so easy.

My en-suite bathroom. I’ve wanted one for decades!! Ooh and my beautiful antique dressing table.

My water distiller called Jack The Dripper. OMG I love drinking cold distilled water with some Baja salt in it. Life enhancing.

I got a free bath from FB selling and I fill it with cold water and sit in it in the back garden. I'm not well currently and it takes away the inflammation and helps my mental state. I love it.

I have started feeding two stray cats who were so thin, they were trying to eat the bird seed from the bird table. I have got them from totally feral and terrified of me last July to them letting me pick them up and cart them around like floppy purring babies. I had no idea cats could give so much pleasure as I am a dog person but my heart went out to these two sad little critters and now I absolutely adore them and they have beds, combs, brushes, have been wormed, microchipped, vaccinated and get three meals a day plus snacks.

@Wishitwasstraightforward Sorry, late to reply, but the robo vac is a Eufy! It was £200 on Prime Day.

I googled the Baja salt but could you explain how it benefits you? Does the water taste salty?

Baja has 94 separate essential minerals. You can feel it doing you good. It does taste salty but flavoursome with it.

I forgot about my ps5 and nintendo switch. It is pure escape to get lost in a game and i've been playing all my life, I could never imagine being without a gaming device, it makes life much nicer for me.

My MacBook Air I am on my second one. I rarely put the tv on as I sit with it on my lap. Would never be without one now.

Also had my 4 front teeth veneered. No white turkey teeth and the fit in lovely with my other teeth. Best 2.5k I ever spent

My mattress.

I have arthritis and I paid £500+ quite a few years ago. I still make up in pain, but not as much.

Thought of another, dull, but so satisfying item. The Bacofoil Elasti-Bags for my kitchen bins. They come on a roll but somehow the tops become elasticated when you stretch them over your bin, so they fit very neatly and never slip off.

Very pedestrian but the Lakeland silver mesh backed brightly coloured kitchen sponges. They are so pretty and so handy. So much nicer than a grey dishcloth
