Why are majority of the riots in northern towns?

DH & I were watching the riots on the news this morning like most people absolutely horrified.

He's from one of the northern towns affected although we live in the south and started discussing why these riots now (and historically) tend to be more focused on northern towns but didn't really come up with any one thing. Any thoughts on this?

That is really fascinating for. A Family tree and must have taken a bit of time to find out although my Mum did similar back in the 70’s but the most surprising and funny thing was the woman’s name as pretty much her surname with an e on the end!

They are rioting because they are furious about immigration and have been for years this has been fuelled in the press and by Farage et al and the attack in Southport gave them an 'excuse' to start a war.

Whya are the riots happening in the North? Rioters are being mobilised from far-and-wide. The question shouldnt be "why in the North" but rather "Where are they coming from?". After that should come the "Why". It's easier to target a small town with a few EDL numpties than a major city like London/Bham/Mchr with the same small group of numpties. The small town doesnt have the resources / experiences to respond in the same way.
The EDL are just a bunch or radical die-hards who want to be seen on TV, they are no different to Extinction Rebellion or some other extreme Liberal Jihad. Just a bunch of nutters, forget them, they're irrelevant until you give them focus, then they can take over.
