Southport - why do they keep saying a ‘Taylor Swift themed club’?

It’s really bothering me.

Is it because
a) the murder of 2 children and attempted murder and severe injury of 9 others isn’t newsworthy enough without involving Taylor Swift’s name?

b) Taylor Swift needs to suffer some guilt by association in the way Ariana Grande did with the bombing at her concert?

What’s the need or relevance? If it had been a 80’s music dance class would they keep saying that? Why not just say summer dance club and then focus on the children and adults who were hurt or killed - I can’t even imagine the devastation their families and the whole community must be suffering.

Anyone?

I'm very glad none of the kids summer camps are TS themed, that's for sure.

Oh, I wouldn’t trust the medical profession as far as I could throw them. I’ve been left with PTSD by medical staff. There’s many cases of medical staff sexually assaulting patients, acting without consent, changing notes, even killing people. Maybe we should film everything they do too? or do you think that might affect how they do their job.

so one officer forgot to turn his body cam on, presumably there were others there with them on?
How do you feel about snippets of DH ions of officers appearing on line, usually out of context, putting those officers and families at risk? I think posting such footage online should be made illegal

How would you feel about someone filming you doing your job and posting snippets on line, manipulated to making you look bad?

maybe kids should start filming teachers to make sure their teaching is up to scratch?

Edited

This already happens across the board.

After Wayne Couzins used his police warrant badge to fraudulently arrest Sarah Everard, his police handcuffs to immobilise her so he could abduct her, and his police belt to strangle her to death during or after taking her, and in the same calendar year David Carrick was jailed for multiple rapes, which he used his status as a police officer to facilitate, I find it impossible to accept your argument that the police should get a level of legal protection from this that the rest of us don't.

And the death of someone in America is relevant to UK policing how?

If the fans had had video phones at Hillsborough, 96 families wouldn't have waited decades for their dead loved ones to be formally exonerated of causing their own deaths.

I'm surprised I have to spell it out!
You've said earlier on something along the lines of, and I'm paraphrasing, that people filming police officers arresting people/policing is unnecessary as police have body cameras, and annoying to police. Other people rightly pointed out that this isn't reliable.
George Floyd was murdered by police in a racist attack. If this wasn't filmed by a young bystander, the murdering police officer would have got away with it.
This example explains how important it is for members of the public to police the police by filming them.

If this wasn't filmed by a young bystander

Darnella Frazier is a hero. The police could have turned on her and she stood her ground to carry on filming.
