Your favourite biscuit and most disliked biscuit

What is your favourite biscuit ?
What is the biscuit you dislike most?

My favourite is
Chocolate covered Kimberley biscuit, though it was nicer when it had more chocolate covering it years ago.
The coating has definitely thinned.

Also utterly delicious but sadly discontinued is the Chocolate covered ( fully enrobed in chocolate) Boaster. Delicious.

Least favourite
Rich Tea or Arrowroot.
They are so bland why bother making them ?

Favourite is a hobnob type ones or ones with raisins or sultanas.

Least favourite ones that the biscuit is chocolate (like a Bourbon) or flavoured (lemon puff style).

Orange Custard Creams are my favourite.
Fig Rolls are my least favourite...

Least favourite Hob Nobs- just no. Favourite digestives, Rich Rea, chocolate fingers, Jammy Dodgers, Bourbons, Ginger Nuts- I could go on. 😂 Shame I'm.not able to eat them at the moment

BCBird · 18/02/2025 20:06

Ooh yes yo orange custard creams and fig rolls. How about lemon puffs?

Chocaholic1216 · 18/02/2025 20:11

Favourite is a Fox’s Jam & Cream or a McVities Gold Digestive.

least favourite would be a hobnob. Find them boring

Lemon Puffs aren't nearly as sticky as they used to be... 😔

They still beat other biscuits into the ha’penny place. But yes, less sticky…😢

I like an oatmeal and raisin cookie, warm from the oven...

but a bought biscuit would be a Tunnocks wafer or Foxes jammy cream one.
Dislike Lincoln round bobbly ones and pink dusty wafers.

When I was at boarding school, "tea" every day was a hot drink and two biscuits, always a "good biscuit" and a "shit biscuit". Good biscuits included chocolate digestives, jammy dodgers, lemon puffs, smiley face biscuits. Shit biscuits included things like malted milk, rich tea, plain digestive etc. You got prefect's' detention if you were caught trying to take two good biscuits. Biscuits were therefore a very frequent and important topic of conversation.

My favourite "good biscuit" is a smiley face biscuit with the jam and cream in, and my favourite "shit biscuit" is malted milk. That combo meant it was a good day.

Best: stem ginger thins covered in dark chocolate.
Worst: anything that looks like it should be shortbread but isn't: I include shortcake biscuits, shorties, the biscuit on a jammy dodger, fruit shorties, the biscuit component of boasters (if they still do those). They are all butterless liars and very disappointing.

It's like asking which of my children is my favourite. 😬

Blueuggboots · 18/02/2025 22:24

Favourite - good quality shortbread
Worst - bourbon biscuits

Fave has got to be a biscuit that’s discontinued here, Lincoln biscuits. They still sell them in Ireland though.
least fave is any thing with raisins or sultanas. But other than that, rich teas, they are so bloody boring 🥱

I’ve suddenly got a mad urge for a Lincoln. Even though the last time I ate one was probably in the late eighties.
