Your favourite biscuit and most disliked biscuit

What is your favourite biscuit ?
What is the biscuit you dislike most?

My favourite is
Chocolate covered Kimberley biscuit, though it was nicer when it had more chocolate covering it years ago.
The coating has definitely thinned.

Also utterly delicious but sadly discontinued is the Chocolate covered ( fully enrobed in chocolate) Boaster. Delicious.

Least favourite
Rich Tea or Arrowroot.
They are so bland why bother making them ?

Love Grasmere gingerbread and all butter shortbread, can't abide Lebkuchen.

RomeoMcFlourish · 16/07/2024 14:17

Favourite - hobnobs (dipped in tea)

Least favourite - Rich Tea

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/07/2024 14:18

Not sure I have met a biscuit I don’t like

Garibaldis bring back happy memories of beach days with cousins and trying to eat one without touching it

Favourite: fig roll
Least: party rings

Ilovemyshed · 16/07/2024 14:21

Live a fig roll, ginger nut, chocolate digestive, jammy dodger.

Don't mind rich tea or custard cream.

Anything with coconut can get in the bin.

GameOfJones · 16/07/2024 14:21

Favourite: Chocolate coated hobnob
Least favourite: Pink wafers

CeeJay81 · 16/07/2024 14:22

Favourite: - Chocolate Caramel digestives!

I would eat all biscuits because I'm a biscuit lover 😋 but if I had to pick least favourite, it would be either ginger nuts or a bourbons

WetBandits · 16/07/2024 14:23

Favourite: anything but Nice biscuits
Least favourite: Nice biscuits

M&S pistachio biscuits or milk chocolate digestives are amongst my favourites.

Least favourite are those Danish biscuits that come in a blue tin.

Rich Tea are great when you are feeling a bit sick.

I think they should put that slogan on the packet for Rich Tea.

"A biscuit you can eat even when you are feeling a bit sick."

Sales will surely treble.

Deadringer · 16/07/2024 14:25

I love Digestives. Not the chocolate ones, the plain ones. I also love shortbread. My least favourite would probably be custard creams, I don't hate them though and would probably eat any kind of biscuit when I am in the mood.

Bignanna · 16/07/2024 14:30

Favourite- crumble creams, chocolate thins, lemon puffs.

Least- arrowroot, shortcake, garibaldi.

SeeSeeRider · 16/07/2024 14:32

Really liked the new Cocoa Rich Tea from Huntley & Palmer a couple of weeks ago. Got a pack from a standalone display in local Tesco, went back for more, all gone. Staff have no idea if they'll be back.

HighHeelsOnCobblestones · 16/07/2024 14:37

Favourite = bourbon biscuit

Least favourite = Nice biscuits are not nice to me.

LadyR77 · 16/07/2024 14:43

Favourite would be either a milk chocolate digestive or a Lu Petit Beurre.

Most disliked either rich tea or garibaldi.

Comedycook · 16/07/2024 14:51

I do love those squares of thick shortbread with chocolate chips...m and s do them in their bakery section

martinimagic · 16/07/2024 14:59

My favourite is a Fox's classic, or Fox's milk chocolate round. Perfect with a cup of tea.

Least favourite are coconut creams or anything with coconut as an ingredient.

TheChosenTwo · 16/07/2024 15:08

Favourite - home made melting moment

least is tied between a rich tea or a penguin or wagon wheel. Wouldn’t eat any of them if you paid me!

TeamPolin · 16/07/2024 15:15

Favourite = Biscoff - I'm a sucker for anything with cinnamon.

Least favourite = fig rolls 🤢

Favs: prefer plain biscuits, not too sweet - morning coffee, rich tea, malted milk. Used to love Lincoln biscuits (with the little knobbles on?) but you can't seem to get them in the UK any more.

Hate: Hobnobs, plain and chocolate ones. Not that keen on any fancy, or chocolate biscuit really. But I could gorge a whole pack of Lincolns!

LadyMargaretDevereux · 16/07/2024 15:29

Favourite is a chocolate digestive, no contest, though an occasional ginger biscuit is nice. Least favourite is those pink wafer things, rich tea, Nice, and any overly rich double chocolate squishy cookie type of thing. I don't eat biscuits any more but I like discussing them!

Newgirls · 16/07/2024 15:29

I like a retro fig roll and bourbon sorry! I think happy visiting grandparents memories

Don’t like hobnobs - they seem to have the texture of granulated sugar in them?

I do love pretty much anything that M&S makes - they must have the best biscuit buyers in the business!

BestIsWest · 16/07/2024 15:31

@IMustDoMoreExercise MCH are too sweet for me, I’m not really a fan of milk chocolate. Dark would be ok.

Oh just remembered that we had Fortnum’s Anzac biscuits at Christmas. They were lovely.

theredspindletree · 16/07/2024 15:35

Favourite - choc chip shortbread or anything from the Border selection box 😋

Most hated - bourbons or penguins 🐧

Notaflippinclue · 16/07/2024 15:38

Fave = time out
Worst = pink wafer thingies
