It's so depressing. It's been dark for hours, now pissing down. Again.

Haven't worn any summer clothes
Haven't had a bbq / sat out in the garden
No paddling pool out
It's not cold it's just damp and humid

It's shite and I'm over it.

Rant over.

Beach day for us today as it was beautiful 😎

Unlikely to be happening again this week as we have other commitments though plus its forecast to be thunder storms and rain.

Might get a day trip organised next week weather depending...

I hate being hot, especially at work as it's manual labour, so the temperature suits me. But it doesn't suit my vegetables. Last year, I was taking all the excess in to work, to give away. This year, I've hardly anything for myself!

I have literally worn summer clothes about 4 times this year. I am hoping for better weather come August. I agree this current weather is awful.

I hope everyone is ok.

My street flooded last October and it was awful. Watching the water creep closer to the house and knowing there was nothing I could do to stop it made me feel so helpless.

Spent all weekend at an outside event in a base layer and hoody and it’s bloody July. Even when it is dry and warm ish it’s just grey. I need some blue skies and sun! It’ll be dark early before we know it and I’m so fed up.

We had sunshine this morning, then it clouded over. I just managed to get the grass cut before it rained.

The weekend was cold and miserable. There was a local beer festival that we were going to go to, but couldn't be bothered standing about in the cold and wet. The plus side is that the beer would have been OK.

It was quite nice at the weekend now has turned again! Raining this evening. Ugh!

However- !! I think summer is arriving on Wednesday. Forecast is 24c Thursday and Friday 26c and then 22-24 for the foreseeable! Not crazy hot but better than what it’s been!

They are saying it's the worst summer since 1816, when Mount Tambora erupted and blotted out the sun...

It’s looking hotter and sunnier from Thursday for about a week at least!

Pouring with rain here. Totally fed up. There’s another thread about putting the heating on and everyone is just as fed up. Normally I would eye roll at another thread about the shit summer but it’s totally justified.

Had a garden party for DD on Saturday. Hired a bouncy castle.

Pissed it down - bouncy castle soaked, everyone inside. Miserable.

Why couldn’t it have been like this 2 years ago when I gave birth rather than 40 degrees 😂

In the north west and it’s been awful. We have 2 weeks in Spain late august and I can not wait. I want to feel sun on my skin! Knowing my luck it’ll be the only 2 sunny weeks in the UK at the same time and everyone will be enjoying it here at the same time but tbh I can accept that this year as ids just been grim. I keep getting flashbacks on phone memories of paddling pool days, bbqs etc. It feels like we’ve not had one properly hot day yet at all. Depressing AF

Wow, was 23 degrees here in SW Scotland!

Today was actually warm(ish) and sunny where I am (don't worry, it's raining again now) but Sunday was such a massive wash out it felt incredible. It was 18 degrees! I hung the washing out! I can't remember the last time I saw blue sky. It was nice to get a break in the misery even if short lived.

Not where I am! 16 and raining on Saturday. We are meant to be going camping. Will prob sack it off.
