It's so depressing. It's been dark for hours, now pissing down. Again.

Haven't worn any summer clothes
Haven't had a bbq / sat out in the garden
No paddling pool out
It's not cold it's just damp and humid

It's shite and I'm over it.

Rant over.

Happy to report day 2 of lovely sunshine. WFH today and sat outside under the parasol in shorts and t-shirt to do it. Bliss.

We sat outside for tea tonight. Absolute bliss

@DuesToTheDirt and @Fordian I guess lots depends on your garden. If we don't get rain for a week I end up having to get the hosepipe out as our plants really suffer. We've had a lot of rain here in the North East but also some warmth, not necessarily loads of sun, and our flowers and shrubs are romping away.

Only problem has been the veg plot as the wet brought out the slugs which have done a lot of damage. Our forecast is for 23 degrees today but next week se ems to be around the 18 mark. We also managed to eat dinner in the garden the other night 😄

Another humid day with grey lowering skies and wind here.

The best weather in ages yesterday. Looks ok today too.

Currently 28 degrees in my part of South Yorkshire. Lovely.

Then it goes downhill tomorrow evening, but still better than we have been having lately.

31c here. Sorry but I hate it. Gives me such a nasty headache.

Beautiful. Had a lovely two-day spate of WFH (or more accurately, garden) and a lovely dose of overdue and much-needed Vitamin D.

No beautiful sunsets, alas, as it tends to cloud up a bit in the evening. But what an instant mood lift!

We are a maritime climate. The humidity on the continent is a lot worse. Further north, in the likes of St Petersburg, the fresco painting peels off the walls because of the damp.

Sweltering here in the south east. From the ridiculous to the sublime. Until Sunday when it goes downhill again.

It's 26c in my flat atm. I think I'm melting 😂😂😂

Urgh. It is muggy today, so cloudy and muggy. Forecast thunderstorms later which will hopefully help.

Finally it is warm enough for me to get my shorts on and clean the patio. Oh joy.
