It's coming home? VOTE

I wish I could have bottled that feeling of 1996 when the whole country went football mad, every other car and house on the road had flags and we were all sure it was coming home.

So do we think it's coming home?

Some predictions:

Someone will comment that it's past that 16 year old Spanish player's bedtime

England will have a goal disallowed due to offside

Now that we're good at penalties, it will not go to penalties

Jordan Pickford will be cross that he's expected to do his job

What do you reckon?

I hope. I fear not. I can't stand this feeling right now. Worried. Not enjoyable.

I just wish it was already all over. I hate watching England play

There's no way we'll win

Long experience tells me that we won't win. We never win. It's heartbreaking every time.

I want it quite massively, but have a bottle of emergency sad wine in the fridge for when I get home tonight so I can stick a sad film on and cry a bit 😂

Then will sort myself out and look forward to 2026. Such is life supporting England.

Both DC are away with mates so we have a rare weekend alone. Have had a nice time gardening and watching Wimbledon but tonight is going to be weird

DH was adamant he didn’t want to go out to watch it or have anyone over as he’s had too many experiences of being disappointed

It would be so good to win and I remain hopeful though common sense tells me otherwise. Staying positive though!

i dont follow football.. or any sport much to be honest and i've agreed to babysit so that the young ones can watch the match at the pub...

i have a strong sense of we will win!

Hope they dont win...either hammered 4-0 or beat on penalties wiuld do me.

Even if you support them must admit they dont deserve to win on their performances. But I'm scottish so even if theyd played amazingly id still wwnt them to lose.

I think it will be double win for Spain today.

They unexpectedly won their knockout games despite poor performance, so why not this one too? 🤞

I'm glad not to be over-invested tbh! I'll watch the match. I'll be really pleased if England win, and a bit disappointed if they lose. I don't do extreme emotions over sport!

I find it sad that Scottish people are so pleased when England lose and wish for them to.

No matter what I thought about a country I don’t think I’d be that vindictive to a sports team.

Because Spain are the standout team of the tournament.

I don’t think England are good enough to beat Spain. I’d love them to but it feels unlikely.

That's mean, I am Scottish and I really don't get that some Scots feel this way.
When I was growing up my uncle had an English wife and my dad's family hated her, so unnecessary.

The stats disagree with you there. Though this Spanish team are on fire.

Foden will look confused and sad

Trippier will make several shite passes but still play the full match.

Mainoo will make loads of amazing passes, I will comment on what a lovely boy he looks and my teenagers will roll their eyes.

The ref will make a shocking decision (fingers crossed we get another dodgy pen).

I will scream "switch it" about 5 times, they won't but instead pass it backwards. Teens will eye roll.

England will score early and then play defensively. Spain will equalise. England will get confused as to what to do. England will attempt a run forward, Spain will easily get the ball off us and score again after a break. Pickford will swear at everyone.
England fans will embarrass us by smashing up Berlin.

But somewhere in my head it still is singing a build up "it's coming ..."

I love pickford. He is how I want to really act at work sometimes 😄

England will smash it. 2 - 1 in regular time.
