It's coming home? VOTE

I wish I could have bottled that feeling of 1996 when the whole country went football mad, every other car and house on the road had flags and we were all sure it was coming home.

So do we think it's coming home?

Some predictions:

Someone will comment that it's past that 16 year old Spanish player's bedtime

England will have a goal disallowed due to offside

Now that we're good at penalties, it will not go to penalties

Jordan Pickford will be cross that he's expected to do his job

What do you reckon?

Isn't this thread about England?
Scottish fans knew it wasn't coming home.

You seem like a good sport. So I’ll just share a joke with you, that Scotland’s habit of early exit actually has a name. It’s called premature e-jock-ulation.

They all seem about 12 years old and wet behind the ears.

Think you just got older!

I'm still waiting for the joke.

They're definitely not 12 years old.
Maybe you're just ageing.

I hate football championships because women very often pay the price if their partner’s team doesn’t win.

Sadly true.
I hope the England fans behave at home and away.

England don’t really like winning at the end of the day. They sort of epitomise the withdrawal method. Almost…………nope.
So I’m not hopeful.

This is a great description Grin

‘Probably have no national pride’
They're playing for England. Ridiculous comment 🙄 👀
Do you think what you perceive to be their lack of patriotism has impacted their game?

GrandTheftWalrus · 15/07/2024 00:42

They say "it's coming home" but did football not start in Scotland?

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.
