Looks like some sort of injury to Trump, likely superficial.

By that, I mean Biden showed signs of serious cognitive issues even before he was elected president, four years ago. But his supporters would not admit there was an issue.

In this clip Biden was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but thought he was in Delaware. He claimed Beau had been elected to a be Senator but that never happened. Biden himself was a senator but Beau was attorney general.

He also seemed to introduce his granddaughter as his son Beau, who is deceased. I think he possibly meant “This is Beau’s daughter” except it was not Beau’s daughter at all. It was Hunter’s daughter.

He controls our nukes.

Can you not shout at me, please. Neither in the USA nor the UK are law enforcement permitted to carry out extrajudicial executions unless there is an imminent threat to life. So someone points a gun at someone. What if it wasn't loaded? Or a replica? Imagine the shrieking if the police shot them. The law is the law so you can take your performative, disingenuous nonsense and go scream at someone else.

Jeez Louise, calm down! I didn't shout at you or anyone, I emphasised some points.
I still say that if someone was on a roof with a rifle near the King, there's no way that security wouldn't shoot them on sight.

He controls our nukes.

A lot of other people would also have the codes and there would be a complex and previously agreed protocol. One person can’t start letting nukes off by themselves - not even in Russia. I remember this being discussed when Putin invaded Ukraine and started moving their nuclear deterrent.

In terms of how Trump has got into politics in the first place, I would say that the world over has caught the populist bug and this is reflective in the sorts of people being elected everywhere. We had it here, with Boris Johnson who has done a lot of damage not only to his own party but also to the integrity of government. These types of people have no business being in those kinds of jobs.

Rory Stewart and Alistair Campbell were discussing this very issue on their podcast and were saying that the rise of the populist politician is a direct result of social media.

If you can get shot t the police in the UK for carrying a table leg that is mistaken for a gun then you can most definitely get shot by the police for pointing a replica gun or an unloaded gun at someone.

Did you miss the bit where it was ruled an unlawful killing? You've just proved my point. Well done.

To be fair, that verdict was over turned and an open verdict reinstated. Which was a disgrace.

Maybe English is not your first language. Can you explain why one off mistakes or errors are not considered misinformation?

Your initial post referred to the mainstream press spreading hatred and misinformation. There is a difference between information that is later found to be incorrect and is subsequently corrected, or should be. There tends to be a roughly equal amount of that applied to both sides of politics and it often happens in the confusion of breaking news situations.

I believe you might have meant disinformation, which is a deliberate usage of false information in order to mislead?

Have just noted you mention Ukraine and Covid. Again, can I ask you for proof of these?

Or… something else. Long post for someone that doesn’t care.

Well I don't care about you not liking me or telling me to fuck off, that's fine. But I'm still pretty interested in your analysis of how the Democrats destroyed Mitt Romney?

No matter what the verdict was, the victim is still dead. "The police would be acting illegally if they did X" isn't the same in practice as "the police cannot do X"
