Leaving the trans issue aside- because I am strongly GC, but I agree that it’s neither the only or the most important issue atm- I heard David Lammy speak at one of the anti-Brexit marches and wasn’t impressed. His arguments and solutions were very simplistic- only slightly more articulate than Steve Bray. I don’t know whether that was his limit, or he just hugely underestimated the intelligence of his audience, but it wasn’t great and I was surprised to hear he’d been at Harvard.
