What is your phobia?

I hate slugs, I just had to clean out one of those drain nest straining devices on my gutter and there was a slug in it, one of those khaki ones with an orange frill Envy. I'm grimacing now just writing that down. I feel tense and revolted that I know it's up there still. It's ridiculous but I'm going to be thinking of this all day and feeling a bit queasy all day.
Anyone relate to this?

Cannulas/ Needles - ok with a jag eg blood thinner but the rest - absolutely horrendous! Spent thousands on hypnotherapy, cut, blood trauma - nothing works.

Heights. I'm ok with tall buildings and so on but then get vertigo on some stairs and escalators. It's a slightly out of proportion fear of falling, if anything.

Rodents
I am also claustrophobic.
I was in a lift with a rat once.

Also hair ( cut from shaving on a white sink) or in random places.

Being sick. Emetophobia. Absolutely petrified of it 😢

Same

Reading a lot of these and wondering how many are phobias and how many are people just not liking things. A phobia takes over your life, you think about it almost all the time, you avoid places and situations so you don’t come into the thing your scared of and when you do come in contact you go into fight or flight mode, you shake with fear, have panic attacks. Phobias are horrible. For a long time Emetophobia ruled my life, I now have it semi under control (but it still petrifies me if I come into contact), I don’t think about it every day anymore.

There are things I don’t like but they don’t give me nightmares or effect what I do too much.

@Lovemusic82

This is so so true. Like I don't like spiders. Or snakes. But I don't think about them constantly.

The sickness fear has completely ruined a lot of my life. It's on my mind all the time and altered so many decisions in my life. I've had endless counselling but still can't seem to shake the phobia. Totally miserable!
