Definitely feeling the nerves. I think the years of shock therapy have left me totally scarred. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

HauntedBungalow · 04/07/2024 21:51

Nervous but increasingly hopeful.

I was out knocking earlier in the nextdoor constituency (ours is safe Labour) which is looking likely to turn and lots of people said they'd voted Labour. They could all be lying to our faces ofc!

Queues at my own polling station when I went.

Nat6999 · 04/07/2024 21:51

Very, I have a nightmare where the tories just scrape in.

Scautish · 04/07/2024 21:52

exit poll nerves peaking now

AnotherbutcoolerJaneAusten · 04/07/2024 21:52

It’ll be alright everyone! 🌹 hold your nerve!

keffie12 · 04/07/2024 21:52

Nervous apprehension - more as we get close to the exit poll time. I/we have waited so long for this I have to pinch myself it's really happening

Think it will be a huge landslide. Tories around 130 seats

That's what I expect but I'm hoping for lower. I predicted 80 seats about 7 months ago in the 2024 predictions thread. Grin

DontBiteTheCat · 04/07/2024 21:54

I really think I might cry when Labour win. (I nearly wrote “if”, but positive thinking!)

I cannot believe what the Tories have done over the last 14 years, I can’t believe it might finally be over for them.

Takoneko · 04/07/2024 21:55

I don’t know what to make of the odd decision to release the honours list while the polls were still open. Very weird.

Fightthepower · 04/07/2024 21:55

Here we go! It’s going to be a long night

captainsudoku · 04/07/2024 21:55

I'm nervous. Have BBC1 on.

Scautish · 04/07/2024 21:55

I've got people roundbut we're pretty much all on our phones just waiting for John Curtice right now.

I still might cry.

SquirrelSoShiny · 04/07/2024 21:56

It was miserable not knowing who to vote for. Choices between the Devil and the deep blue sea.

LadyWhistled0wn · 04/07/2024 21:57

Hopefully the reform voters haven't fucked it all up and left us with a hung Parliament.

Namechanger385u4p · 04/07/2024 21:57

I think labour will easily win, not as big a landslide as 97 but definitely will cpme out top

DontBiteTheCat · 04/07/2024 21:57

I’m welling up already!

LadyWhistled0wn · 04/07/2024 21:57

Exit poll in T minus 3 mins.

Ifailed · 04/07/2024 21:58

BondStreet · 04/07/2024 21:59

Nervous excitement I think! Finally those bastards will be out and we can rebuild

DontBiteTheCat · 04/07/2024 22:00

Thank GOD!!!

Scautish · 04/07/2024 22:00

DontBiteTheCat · 04/07/2024 22:00

A fucking landslide!!!

Autumnflakes · 04/07/2024 22:01

I’ll loose all faith in this country if the Tories aren’t eradicated.
