I feel sick at the thought of slimy Kier and odious Angela being in charge 🤮

Would you rather the tories who partied while people died alone?

YoYoBiscuits · 04/07/2024 22:08

phew!!!!!

siriusblackcat · 04/07/2024 22:09

How accurate is the exit poll?

I'm so happy to see it but panicking it'll be very wrong.

But it seems the majority don't agree with you…oh so fortunately!

As opposed to bigoted Boris, lying Liz and rotting Rishi? 🎉

I think labour will easily win, not as big a landslide as 97 but definitely will cpme out top

I agree. I would be very surprised if Starmer got near Blair's majority.

Iwishicouldflyhigh · 04/07/2024 22:10

I really, really and very genuinely hope that Labour are going to be as country changing as a lot of people think (I’m beyond doubtful), because if they fuck this up then we’ll be going the same way as France and a lot of Europe and hello Reform.

Takoneko · 04/07/2024 22:11

It’s also looking worse than expected for the SNP. Going down to 10 seats is a painful result for them.

It’s a good result for Scotland.

LadyWhistled0wn · 04/07/2024 22:12

Certainly going to be interesting with Nigel Farage in the Houses of Parliament...

Usually very accurate. You wouldn’t expect the numbers to be exact but there’s no way Labour don’t have a good majority.

Even if it’s wrong, it won’t be by too much!

ALT72 · 04/07/2024 22:14

Can’t believe Labour is on course to win and people are happy to pay more tax and open up the border. Nice one…

Tracker1234 · 04/07/2024 22:14

Isn’t this less vote share than Corbyn’s showing?

Squidlette · 04/07/2024 22:14

He's that kid in your class who comes to derail and make it all about him. Doesn't need to be there; doesn't give a shit about anyone else; just wants to play.

CormorantStrikesBack · 04/07/2024 22:14

Predicting Hunt and Mourdant are very likely to go.
rees Mogg probably going to go with a 47% chance of winning his seat and a 53% chance of losing it.

PyongyangKipperbang · 04/07/2024 22:14

Very nervous.

We are a massively multicultural town, and as a result have a lot of racists who dont like "them" coming over here and taking "our" jobs..... jobs that couldnt get filled by people like them who dont want to work in warehousing and so dont work at all.

Reform stand a very good chance around here and that thought is frightening.

MsLavender · 04/07/2024 22:14

I was nervous, now I'm emotional after the exit polls. I'm still angry with Labour and feel like that still have a long way to go to regain my trust in them as a party but even so, I cannot live much longer under the Tories and I know many more feel the same.

JurassicClark · 04/07/2024 22:15

Wow, Nicola Sturgeon really fucked the SNP vote, didn't she! 10 seats, jesus.

I am glad Reform got more seats. Will hold Labour feet to the fire over immigration as there only idea is smashed the gangs and set up yet another government quango.

God it’s nice to tear up… and FEEL something after years of soul-numbing Tories. Please let this be real! Why do I feel even more nervous? Don’t let this slip away.

Good point; I can't feel anything yet...need a few minutes for it to silk in.
Soul numbing indeed.
I need to see some of them go, or 'explain', or show anger.
Is it actually true, at last? They're going............,

Eeeeeurrrgggghhhh!!!! I hope they don't get 13 seats, but I expect he'll win in Clacton. The one thing is, if his attendance is anything like it was in the Europaean Parliament, we may not see that much of him!

AmelieTaylor · 04/07/2024 22:18

Darkflame · 04/07/2024 21:12

Feeling nervous too. I just hope we get the change that's so desperately needed. I feel sick to the stomach at the thought of it going wrong and somehow that twunt Farage getting in. I'd seriously think about leaving this country. I'll be watching the news very closely.

@Darkflame

Well, that was never going to happen. They have even said that themselves, plenty of times.
