Purely because I am really strange and find things like what time of day people voted interesting.

Thank you.
Oh dear, I thought that might be the case. Both passport and drivers license and are in my maiden name.

Can you take you marriage certificate along with you as well as passport?

Toddlerteaplease · 04/07/2024 08:38

Actually I've just googled and it says as long as it's a likeness you can use it.

Take your marriage certificate, that might work?

I did actually just have a Google, funnily enough & a marriage certificate is acceptable! 🎉

NigelHarmansNewWife · 04/07/2024 08:49

I've voted. Polling station what I would describe as GE busy.

dottydodah · 04/07/2024 08:50

Postal vote 2 weeks ago.

CrunchyCarrot · 04/07/2024 08:54

Postal vote last week. My disability means I can't get to the polling station.

saveforthat · 04/07/2024 08:55

I voted this morning when I walked the dog. It was not very busy.

Harrumphhhh · 04/07/2024 08:55

Done ❌

on the way home from dropping the kids at school.

Awrite · 04/07/2024 08:56

I still haven't decided who to voted for.

LuluBlakey1 · 04/07/2024 08:57

Voted about 7.15am.

didistutter56 · 04/07/2024 08:58

Voted about an hour ago, there was only me and one other person - historically a very low turn out around me though.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 04/07/2024 08:59

Voted at 8.30am

BraveFacesEveryone · 04/07/2024 08:59

Voted at 7.20 this morning. I’m not at work today but got up early to walk over with DH before he went to work and then popped over to a friends house as I’m looking after their cat while they’re away.

I usually go after work but it’s DSD’s 18th birthday today (and her first time voting!) and me, her and her mum are having a girls day to celebrate so I’ll be too busy raising a glass to go later today!

ShinyBandana · 04/07/2024 09:00

I voted at 8am on the way to work. There was a steady stream of voters. Fingers crossed for a good turnout and a resounding expression of the nations’ choices

Whatevershallidowithmylife · 04/07/2024 09:01

I did postal vote last week. Basically sent it back ripped into pieces, pointless I know but so bloody frustrated at the uselessness of them all. I fully accept this means i have no right to moan about who wins!

AmaryllisNightAndDay · 04/07/2024 09:01

Postal vote on Saturday. Strange thing today though - on my street leaflets have come through the door from all candidates but no election posters in any windows on my street at all. Never seen that before.

MamaGarl85 · 04/07/2024 09:02

Just voted after dropping the kids at school, one other person in there.

Was surprised that they just checked i had ID, didn't check it against anything!

comedycentral · 04/07/2024 09:02

I went in at 8am, no queue, my DH was in at 7.30. I didn't see any gorgeous dogs sadly, so thanks to the poster that shared the pic!

LadyWhistled0wn · 04/07/2024 09:05

I voted, actually surprised how busy it was!

This year I didn't have a idiot telling me to vote tories (past few times I have) so maybe feeling a bit optimistic. Grin

Nanaboots · 04/07/2024 09:07

Postal vote for me last week, DH will walk up later with DD I should think, eldest DS said he went on the way to work and was surprised how busy it was he had to wait 10 minutes and said there was about 20 people waiting when he came out.

ive been assuming that there will be the usual poor turn out again, but maybe I’m wrong
