Anyone else out there who hasn't had Covid?

I have yet to get Covid. Both me and my mum (85years old) have never had it or at least have never tested positive.

I think this is really strange as pretty much everyone else that I know has had it and some have had it multiple times over and been really ill.

What also makes it odd is that I have a chronic low white blood cell count which is not life threatening but supposedly leaves me more vulnerable to illness.

The longer it goes on the more I am hoping that maybe I somehow have some immunity to this virus, or maybe I'm just really lucky, I hope that continues 🙏🙏

No idea. I’ve never tested nor have any of my family or friends.

Me and ds never had it either. We were vaccinated.

I don't think vaccines make much difference. We were just lucky.

what, you don't know anyone who works in a school, or for the NHS, or was an essential worker during COVID? Or know anyone who needed a hospital procedure or operation since COVID? If so, pretty rare situation to be in.

my 90 year old Mum has never had it.
Actually she's just never tested for it.
She's has many coughs and colds since March 2020 and has never taken a covid test.

Titasaducksarse · 04/02/2025 18:00

100% sure I had it but tests were all negative so based on that no.
I know loads of people who've not had it.

Have you had the vaccinations?
I haven't had it, but was very strict/obsessive on mask-wearing and hand washing/sanitising as I had a DP and DF both shielding.
I stil wear a mask on public transport, or busy places such as hospitals, shopping centres, etc

you do know the injections and mask wearing don't stop transmission ?

Yes, but they certainly minimise the possibility, so given it's worked for me, I am happy to continue!

No. Tried to delete as I realised this is an old thread and I have already posted on it before
