Checking in from sunny foreignland! Happy Election Eve all.
Had a long conversation yesterday with DH who was concerned that the polls could be wrong, were our hopes up too high? And now I am worried that postal votes won't get there/be counted (sent them back 10 days ago). I think I will be jittery until 11pm (my time) tomorrow.

gonna make myself a 'super' playlist to celebrate a potential superminority.

Oh, and result of discussion with DH was that polls (all of them..) could be really wrong AND would still mean we GTTO. But the more accurate they are, the more likely we get rid of Hunt (see username).

That article was a salutary reminder of everything we've lost under the Tories. I can't celebrate Labour getting in, but I will watching the country kicking these bunch of corrupt, blinkered creeps out of office.

Feeling verrrrry nervous. There's no way I'll be sleeping much on Thursday night.

Things I can control about Friday are picking up my new prescription glasses - really looking forward to be able to read properly again. And I'm going on holiday on Saturday so getting ready for that. I keep nearly forgetting I'm going because too much headspace given to the election.

Trouble is I always get a bit nervous about going on holiday (for some reason) so I'm feeling doubly 😱😱

Frasier getting in on dh's hip exercises yesterday. Fortunately dh's leg is no longer quite as sensitive

Finally finished delivering all my leaflets. They lie when they say that a "round" should take 1.25 to 1.5 hours. I think they assume a greater density of housing than in my party of the world, which has a lot of long steep drives. Took me in total about 2.5 hours - and that was walking briskly each time I went out.
