Just that!

I'll start.

I have a mixed south London accent come Surrey accent.
I basically queens English with a slight chav twang.
Born and raised in south London, moved to Surrey in my teens. It's helped my vocabulary tremendously.

What accent do you have?

Eastern European, probably.
Even after 25 years 😁

BouleDeSuif · 29/05/2024 18:27

East London with South Yorkshire creeping in these days.

Thevelvelletes · 29/05/2024 18:35

Aberdonian.

Furrydogmum · 29/05/2024 18:37

West Yorkshire, I hate to hear myself on recordings!

longdistanceclaraclara · 29/05/2024 19:01

I grew up in London, was sent to LAMDA and elocution (thanks mum). Then moved to ME and get told often I sound like a posh Australian whatever that means.

Overtheatlantic · 29/05/2024 19:04

Soft American apparently

usernother · 29/05/2024 19:07

I've moved around a lot and my accent is all over the place. People can never guess where I'm from.

I don't really know - I listen to my voice in horror when someone plays it back to me. "Works in Ryanair Customer Services" is the best way I can describe it.

That's hilarious, such a diss

Oblomov24 · 29/05/2024 19:19

I don't really have one, people say, or rather mine isn't very strong, Devon now Surrey.

LieutOliviaBenson · 29/05/2024 19:20

Scouse, I sound like Avaline from Bread.

MissConductUS · 29/05/2024 19:22

A very soft New York accent.

aintnospringchicken · 29/05/2024 19:23

Generic / neutral Scottish accent, South East Scotland.
When we've been on holiday in the USA I've often been asked which part of Ireland am I from

IamaRevenant · 29/05/2024 19:26

Usually, I think very mild RP? Not overly posh at all, quite indistinct. People tend not to be able to place me.

When drunk or angry or ranting about something, broad West Country/Bristolian.

Neither of these is intentional.

Whatthefuck3456 · 29/05/2024 19:27

Scouse 🫶🏻

Sue152 · 29/05/2024 19:27

A bit of Janner. I think I sound ok normally but when I hear my voice recorded it's hideous.

GiddyMare · 29/05/2024 19:28

Very mixed! I've moved around a lot. But mainly, it is a soft Ulster accent.

Mrsjayy · 29/05/2024 19:30

I have a midstcotland accent think less posh Ewan Mcgregor.

Mrsjayy · 29/05/2024 19:33

I have a midstcotland accent think less posh Ewan Mcgregor.

Or Andy Murray

dapsnotplimsolls · 29/05/2024 19:37

Generic Southern most of the time. Go a bit Devon when drunk or excitable.

maras2 · 29/05/2024 19:43

West Midlands.
Not Brum but fairly close.
😆

MrsMoastyToasty · 29/05/2024 19:48

Posh Bristolian/West Country.

CupofTeaforWe · 29/05/2024 19:58

Surrey accent.

Scottish Family claim I sound Posh but I can't hear that at all!

Isseywith3witchycats · 29/05/2024 20:10

Brummie live in Yorkshire but despite leaving Brum 50 years ago never lost the twang

Andnowshesatoddler · 29/05/2024 20:19

Manchester with an occasional bit of broader lancs

Dibblydoodahdah · 29/05/2024 20:20

West Yorkshire softened by spending half of my life living in the Home Counties. I rarely get asked where I am from originally now.
