B&M is over rated

Most of the home decor is tacky
I can get cleaning products at in the supermarket without a separate trip.
It's not super cheap like people say when you really compare the prices

And I acknowledged that I was mistaken.

As with most "bargain" shops, lots of things are great but some things aren't.

People do rave about it though. It's just a shop.

Agree with polyester clothing being awful. Cheap, horrible and makes you sweat/stink. Literally wearing plastic - it’s gross and uncomfortable. Pisses me off how much of it is in the shops.

National Service is a terrible idea. Most people who suggest it have no Idea of how complex the armed forces are nowadays. It’s not like the 50s and 60s anymore. There’s a reason why those serving don’t want it, and that’s because it won’t work. They’re not social workers.

And NO ONE should wear nude coloured leggings

No word of a lie, I saw a bloke in nude coloured leggings when we were on holiday in Angelsey last year. We were on a campsite, so unsure whether he'd have worn them out out, but it did make me and DS double take as we went to fetch some water.

Shoplifters should be rounded up and placed in stocks on a Sunday afternoon to provide family entertainment for the community as they are ridiculed and any kind of insult is allowed to be shouted at them.

Or even nude coloured trousers or tops. Especially not when it matches your skin tone perfectly. I've had to double take in town sometimes. Once there was a girl in a nude jumpsuit and as she walked by I thought she was walking down the high street fully naked til I spotted a button.

I think national service is a great plan. It doesn't have to be military though. My friend in Germany did his in a residential home caring for others.

It gives people practical skills they don't get in academia, and can help fill the caring gap.

It could be in residential homes, nurseries, schools, military, charity work etc...

That's what I came on to say. Salted caramel is the work of the devil and it really pisses me off that you can't even get normal caramel in a lot of restaurants now 😡

Completely agree with this unpopular opinion @Mischance - thanks for expressing it! I’d add that flying to me is chavvy and irresponsible. At most I think we should have an allocation of leisure flights per person, per year. The flight free movement is growing!

Breastfeeding might be beneficial for a short while but makes no difference in the long run. The biggest factors for health are diet, environmental and modern medicine. The kids I've known who always have some bug or illness were exclusively breastfed from smug parents spouting nonsense

100%agree about people walking behind reversing car !! Have had a few near misses because I don’t have reverse sensors and there is a limit to how many mirrors, looking over my shoulders I can do in a bloody split second 🤦‍♀️
