Of the sexual abuse of boys.
I'm interested in a poll.
G = you think he was definitely guilty
I = you think he was innocent

You're not worth my time, or anyone else's who's interested in justice, and the truth. But you keep doing you, and whatever that is.

I am interested in justice which is why it breaks my heart those poor victims, who’s lives are fucked up because of a selfish evil pedophile

The fact you won’t answer east and reasonable question shows how weak your argument really is

Polishedshoesalways · 14/05/2024 03:44

Well thank god he is dead now. That’s all I am saying.

Augustus40 · 14/05/2024 03:51

Sadly he was guilty I am quite sure.

blue345 · 14/05/2024 06:19

I have no doubt he's guilty. None. I've watched the kids' testimonies and I believe they're telling the truth.

And that's before we get to the seriously creepy thought of an adult having sleepovers with little boys. Forget the childlike, high pitched MJ and look at him before his reincarnation. He was a normal masculine adult and he was a paedophile. I couldn't care less what bullshit about his childhood he used to justify it, he crossed a line and he knew it.

Any court proceedings are inevitably unbalanced by putting kids against someone with the best legal team money can buy. Plus the challenge for a judge/jury deciding the fate of one of the most popular global singers of his time. Makes justice well nigh impossible. It nay be unpalatable but money talks.

I can also understand the parents taking a payoff in some ways. Justice can be healing but your child is pitted against a global superstar and will be ripped to shreds by his legal team. I'd have to hold my nose to accept the money but perhaps they saw that as the best way of building a new life for their children.

Didn't the accusers parents take the cash ?? Surely if that was your child no amount of money would shut you up !!
Something just doesn't sit right !
Yes I think he was odd & strange..

They still told their story, but yes took the cash, it was multiple millions and at least gave something to the kid for their future life. I can see why they did. A hard decision, but an understandable one.

Shell101 · 14/05/2024 06:55

If that was my son no amount of money would make me stop. Just my personal opinion. Its not about money

The same parents that drove their young children to a strange man and left them there overnight repeatedly by themselves. Do you imagine that these ‘parents’ have any morals or ethics in the first place given their decision making? Or were simply starstruck at the time - even accounting for that. Not everyone thinks like you do - newsflash. Rose and Fred West were also parents.

Beefcurtains79 · 14/05/2024 07:01

People calling children liars and sticking up for paedophiles, where did he find these deranged fans?

beguilingeyes · 14/05/2024 07:04

This also all happened in America, where famous people are gods and virtually untouchable in court.
Witness what's happening with Trump now. Where are Epstein's mates and why is the only person punished for that a woman?

The same nut jobs that idolise serial murderers and write to them or marry in prison. Something faulty in their wiring.

XelaM · 14/05/2024 07:07

I.

The parents were sending their kids there to stitch him up for large payouts as they knew he was odd.

Erm, MJ PAID OFF his witnesses! That is NOT the same as being not guilty. By any stretch of the imagination.

I think it's strange that people can be so naive about parents.

Certain parents will sell their child for fame, money and benefits.

MJ and the parents of these children were similar.

They abused the children.

They let their child get into dangerous situations with MJ, for money.

James safechuck (one of the kids who said he was abused) mother, said that Michael Jackson paid off her mortgage for her

James safechuck testified in that trial that Michael Jackson had done nothing to him as a child.

James safechuck's mother later said that Michael Jackson paid off her entire mortgage at the time of the trial.

She said "I know the timing looks bad"

I'm not a massive fan but do enjoy his music - it was groundbreaking at the time and still sounds fresh today. Very good music.

Very enigmatic character. So I always kind of hoped the allegations were not true.

I watched the Leaving Neverland documentary but don't remember much of it.

I don't remember feeling that it proved anything though.

I think there was so much money at play and so many false allegations that it detracted from the allegations which were most probably true.

However, as much as I would like it to be false, yes, I do believe he is probably guilty.

Did Epstein abuse prebusecent children?
I know a lot of the girls were teenagers and some were only 14/15 and I'm not excusing his horrendous crimes
But by all accounts ,MJ surrounded himself with prebuescent children mainly boys .

Now a days you can watch people transforming their faces in front of you. It is called make up

Yes, I'm sure MJ instructed his make up artist to make him look mutilated and like his nose was collapsing.

As if!

Quite. I would take compensation any day rather than put my child through global attention of a sexual abuse trial pitted against a world famous man. What parent would force that on their child just to make a point?

With respect until you’re in the situation where your abused child is getting death threats and hate, is about to get their story shredded apart on the stand and the world doesn’t believe them, you can’t judge on what you would do to make it all go away.

Besides that was ONE boy. The other 7 haven’t had a penny off Jackson

What trial? There was no trial in 1993. And James Safechuck never testified in the 2005 trial. I see so many people here spouting nonsense.
