Of the sexual abuse of boys.
I'm interested in a poll.
G = you think he was definitely guilty
I = you think he was innocent

Just because he was found innocent im court doesn't mean he was innocent either! People are convicted wrongly all the time and guilty people are found innocent, that court ruling proves nothing really.

He did regularly sleep in the same bed as children.

James safechuck said that when he was a child, he was invited on Michael Jackson's "bad" tour, and that he shared a hotel room and hotel bed with Michael Jackson on the tour.

Edited

James says a lot of things, they're called lies.

Just a few examples. Explicitly claiming to have been abused in a building that didn't exist at the time or for several years, is a real doozie.

Elizabeth Taylor shot to stardom at a younger age than Michael Jackson.

She had a very similar childhood to him. She said that she felt she didn't have a childhood and that she was working from a very young age.

However there are no stories about liz taylor bringing 8 year old girls into bed with her.

His childhood is no excuse

Elizabeth Taylor was a very close friend of his, possibly his closest friend. Do you think she ignored his pedo behaviour? No, of course not, because he wasn't a pedo. There is no real evidence, only testimony from people who have lots to gain and no one to contest their version of events - because he is dead.

Anyway, Taylor had her own demons to fight - a ton of failed marriages, a drug addiction, and an eating disorder.

No two people respond to fame in the same way but if you are willing to extend some charity and understanding, you might see that the case against him is very flimsy.

No, I think he's a paedophile.

There were 5 different train stations at Neverland.

TheFunHasGone · 13/05/2024 23:13

Totally weird that people who don't know him stick up for him the way they do. Creepy

Ya, ya, ya! 🤣 Being cleared of 14 charges, Michael got so lucky. 🤣 10 felony charges and 4 misdemeanor charges, meaning their case was total BS.

People are wrongly "convicted" all the time by tabloid media and muppets on social media, it means nothing.

The courts deal in facts and truth. Trying, to dismiss the judicial process. 🙄

Itsmychristmasdress · 13/05/2024 23:18

I have just looked up some of the "Art" books found on the ranch.

Jesus, how can you people defend him. "Childlike, asexual" that man was fucking depraved. I would post a link but honestly it's too bloody harrowing and I dont want to subject posters to it.

Even if some people saw it for theselves they'd make excuses for him having it! He was a sick man!

How many cases even get through to court and what's the rate of conviction like for rapists in general?

TheFunHasGone · 13/05/2024 23:23

It's absolutely tragic how many people are found not guilty of sex offences against children. Even more tragic how many offences they go on to commit before finally getting locked up, and that's just your everyday Joe blogg without any influence or money

A Wikipedia page 😂 why do you think the FBI found sexual images of little boys in his house?

Right? 😂 a wiki anyone can edit is the absolute gospel truth but a podcast that can land the participants in serious legal bother if it's untrue is "biased"
😂😂😂😂😂😂

he was guilty as sin.

False memories

Amyone familiar

Lots and lots of average people and especially parents have their life destroyed because of false memories

This is not to dismiss anyone who is a true victim but in some cases things did not happen the way it is renemembered.

And in MJ’s case, there were lot$ of pre$$ure for people to remember thing$ in a certain way…

x2boys · 14/05/2024 00:00

Carly944 · 13/05/2024 22:27

I don't think the parents do have qualms about it now. They were the types that would sell their child to an abuser, and they are still like that now.

It's the children who were abused that are now grown up, are the ones speaking out about it, not their parents.

I think he's guilty as hell but I don't necessarily think it's in appropriate to sleep in bed with a child depending on your relationship with the child ,my own kids regularly slept in my bed when they much younger
When my oldest was a toddler I worked nights and my dh also worked shifts ,so he often stayed at my parents a d slept in their bed ,but they are his grandparents so I don't think that's weird
Sometimes he also stayed with my sil,who had a son just 14 months older than him ,they were more like brothers than cousins so I wouldn,t have thought it odd if he slept with my sil
What MJ did was very different though

FunLurker · 13/05/2024 12:51

I didn't mean he was capable of raising a family, as I don't think he was, I meant he was left with those 3 kids and no one bothered to be concerned about them.

I’m fairness we don’t know, he may have had other family members and staff around to help. I’d like to say they’ve turned four well rounded but I know Paris had some issues with self harm a suicide poor lass

What "legal bother" can they be landed in? They can produce the most BIASED piece of crap(Leaving Neverland), full of lies, and not worry about any legal repercussions. Do you know that the dead have pretty much no legal protection from lies?

I'd say both!

Newsenmum · 13/05/2024 16:14

Isn’t it because Glitter was actually found guilty? And always a bit grim.

Whereas Jackson was technically found innocent and people loved him. And his songs are actually good too.

Ah well he can’t be a nonce is he’s good at his job

Nonhe wasn’t “found innocent”

x2boys · 14/05/2024 00:15

ChishiyaBat · 14/05/2024 00:06

I'd say both!

The thing is sick people ,I'm assuming you mean mentally ill?
Often don ,t have e control of their own actions
They are often not in reality
I think it does a disservice to those who have a mental illness to call him sick
Because I think he knew exactly what he was doing .

YaMuvva · 14/05/2024 00:16

PeachyPeachTrees · 13/05/2024 19:59

Innocent. After someone dies, the truth comes out. It's still rumours and hear-say. No proof. Just because he was weird doesn't mean he was a pedo.

What proof of 30-40 year historic sex abuse do you expect?

YaMuvva · 14/05/2024 00:17

SLIGEACHEIRE · 13/05/2024 20:52

Can't take the opinion of someone seriously when they don't even know the name of the mockumentary "Leaving Neverland". It's riddled with proven lies throughout and was the most shameful piece of biased tripe ever put on TV screens. It never would have been made if Michael was alive. They'd have been successfully sued and the "director" said so. The dead have no legal protection so they can say whatever they like.

Edited

Proof it’s been debunked please?

Yes it could only be made after Jackson the Nonce died - which makes him a lucky man quite frankly.

Can you please answer the Barry from Asda analogy I put upthread please?
