I’m sure we’ve had this thread before, but there are always new shit adverts 😁

My least favourite at the moment is the new Sainsbury’s ad where the boy says, “Daaaaaad…” and the dad cuts in with “Don’t say it!” before the boy asks what’s for dinner. Flummoxed looking dad then turns to the camera and asks “Any ideas, Sainsbury’s?”

What’s that all about? Is it really an outlandish question for a child to ask? It’s not like he wants to go to Disney World. It isn’t unusual for children to expect to be fed, and quite why the dad is so bewildered at the idea of having to think of something when dinner happens every day of every year, I can’t imagine.

Yes and adding the Animal Magic theme adds to the annoyance

There's a new Wrigley's Extra chewing gum advert with someone with a mouth in their forehead. Similarly 😱 to the Graze mouth in the back of the head. Wrigley's Extra adverts have been bollocks for a while now.?

My DH hates the ad ( can't remember what for) where there's girls painting a basketball court and the boys come on and play basketball on it as it's being painted.

I think it's Lucozade with that footballer who's name has escaped me!

The Bold one where the girl is so pleased with her awful pink weird fabric outfit and spills chocolate milkshake on it. Everything about it is painful, the bloody awful outfit, the overly cheerful mum, the cliche-ridden lyrics with the phrases "shopping haul," "living her best life" etc. I hate it.

That fucking Gillette one!

That one with Grandma's companion - he doesn't want to imagine us getting it on or whatever. No can't say I blame him. Don't even know what the ad is for.

I'm raising the game with the advert for the chewing gum (Milliways) - not the gum itself but the stupid advvert has a woman chewing on the water cooler bottle or a dogs chew toy .

There's a dishwasher one where the girl says "Dad, the dishwashers stinky again" but the voice is of a teenager doing a stupid baby voice and dubbed over the girls voice .

This!!!! I can't put my finger on why but those women wither my soul. Maybe it's the bit about 'this is how I prepare my home for guests.' It undoes year of self talk convincing myself I don't have to bust a gut everytime someone comes round.

The Kenco ad and grumpy old man “you can’t play here”!

The god awful KFC ad where everyone is doing some mad zombie dance to a chicken.

The creepy dracula guying laughing constantly when he gets a deliveroo order!

The woman staring at herself in the mirror with triangle hair whilst her younger self (with better hair) reminds her she did t used to wear sun screen!

Ditto to that. Yuck.

All the FRESH!!! OMG it’s so FRESH!!! ads for laundry additives to make your washing stink of artificial scents.

This. It really creeps me out but I don’t know why. Anyone know why it’s so creep?

And anything with Paddy McGuiness, voice it otherwise , should be banned. Odious professional northerner.

I have only just realised the bloke is singing it in English! Sounded so accented I wondered what he was singing about!

I really don't like the Cadbury advert with the little girl buying her mum a chocolate bar. I cannot understand what she is saying as her mouth is so small! I would imagine it is something along the lines of I would like to buy a chocolate bar for my mum but who knows?!

I saw an advert yesterday don't know if it's new or I missed it ?

She wants sweets/ride on a pedalo/necklace ....on and on.

Then in a toyshop a huge teddy bear she lobs it onto the counter and <shock> his card is declined ..because he put a temporary Freeze on it .

How about maybe saying "No you have enough" to your Spoiled Princess of a Daughter there , Disney Dad ?

Radio advert for Radox, she sounds like she’s about to cry annoying accent and voice

The direct line radio one where her kid puts a ball through the kitchen window and she’s just like “oh no” and doesn’t go mental like a normal mum who had just told her dc to go down the garden away from the window.

Any Curry's adverts. They're just shit. The latest is where a group of online shoppers go into a Curry's store and behave as though they've never seen anything like it. Absolute bollocks.

I'm glad you mentioned this ad.... kind of funny - BUT I am probably the only one who noticed that one of the last customers running out of the store is also on another ad, and it is driving me mad (I know, bonkers) trying to remember what the other one is for.
She is blonde with a bit of a toothy smile, if that helps.

Another woman who is now appearing in two ads - and no, I'm not sure what they are for, is a brunette who pulls a lever and her boyfriend disappears under the bed - I think it might be breakfast cereal. And now she is one where she travels through time - and ends up puzzling over the teenager who has just got into Uni, with a rather comical aside, as she says "Mum????"
(I think this one might be for a money product or bank...)
I do know the two ads she ^^ is on, but the second one for the blonde woman is just not coming to mind.
