I did and still do have a lot of respect for JM though. I don't think we'd have had the GFA without him. Someone else said, he privatised the railway as well though.

The reason is super boring but, OK, prepare to be disappointed.
A close family member is a big fan (!) and talks about him a lot. I wanted to get them a signed photo, personal note, or even better, (and far, far too much to ask of him) a phone call. I think I have a good chance of getting the signed picture at least, because, as I said up thread, I think he's a very nice man. I need it quickly as well, in time for a celebration. This will have absolutely zero, advantage for the Tory Party. I can't think of a single ex PM who I think would be willing to do such a thing for zero personal gain, just to bring delight to a stranger, apart from possibly JM.
