Balls. Result will be a while yet then.

Other areas may declare as Wolverhampton has done. At which point if it is not that close we may be able to guess.
Although I wouldn't be the least surprised if there were other recounts.

tobee · 04/05/2024 17:15

Loving the announcement "Binface, Count" at London assembly

pointythings · 04/05/2024 17:15

@Notonthestairs no worries at all - ferrets are a rarity round our way and not many people know that they can't have processed food or things like dairy.

I'm pretty much my friend's only contact for going out, his family don't bother with him because he's gay and they are unpleasant people. He doesn't have a lot in his life, but we really get on and I enjoy taking him on days out.

IClaudine · 04/05/2024 17:20

@pointythings I don't suppose there is any chance of some ferrett tax?

Spandauer · 04/05/2024 17:21

ULEZ has been blown up (literally when it comes to the cameras) in Bromley. It certainly lead to a nasty atmosphere and a lot of broken traffic lights as the idiots who oppose ULEZ cut down the cameras and the lights. So pretty regressive stuff.

ULOLZ now 😆

Cornettoninja · 04/05/2024 17:22

Hall’s a sourfaced loser isn’t she?

Seconded.

Well that pretty much breaks my heart - and touches on my worst fears for my own kids, social isolation.
Anyway I hope you and your friend and his little friends have many more trips. I'd be delighted to bump into somebody with ferrets.

Saucery · 04/05/2024 17:25

I think ferrets at the seaside is just about the best thing I’ve heard all day ❤️

You're being kind! How dignified was Kahn? Showing his experience and an attempt to be positive. Hall looked like she was going to explode with hate. So glad bbc news cutaway and we didn't see her speak.

tobee · 04/05/2024 17:32
  • an attempt to be positive while Hall looked daggers

I'm utterly confused.
Surely Hall didn't think she would win?
Is she just jealous of someone with skills she lacks?

SerendipityJane · 04/05/2024 17:36

Looking to the future, that's loads more extremely well motivated Labour councillors recruited to go door knocking for the GE.

And loads fewer Tories.

What a shame.

Birmingham metro area 216k votes
Lab Parker 80,251
Con Street 66,296

But Sunak lives in London, doesn't he?
I thought (checks notes) that it is absolutely unforgivable to be on the electoral roll in another place just because you own property there.
Obviously the police will be right on this, as this is at least a current situation, not a decade old accusation...

Funny how it only counts when it is T them as a problem!

SerendipityJane · 04/05/2024 14:42

That would be the same Bromley that fucked all of London over Fares Fair then ?

Cunch of Bunts.

Yup this is my borough, I’m surrounded by fuckwits.

Birmingham Result for West Mids Mayor:

Parker: 37.3% (-10.9)
Street: 30.8% (-9.1)
Yakoob: 19.9% (New)

That's a 0.9% swing to Street.
Parker needs 4.5%.

Ferret tax as requested, heavily cropped so it's anonymous.

That's clearly the Gaza effect there.

Its going to be close.
One would suppose that Coventry is within a few hundred votes either way. Last time Coventry was narrowly red.
Dudley, Solihull and Walsall were quite blue, so Street may still be ok.

Apologies from me too - both for my earlier post if you found it rude and for your surroundings!

Love the ferrets. I know there are 2 that get walked along Herne Bay seafront on leads if these ever want an adventure (don't know the lady personally). She's very popular with the kids.

Fuck knows what's going on with Walsall and Dudley. They're hardly Bexley and Bromley.
