Making a new 70s playlist for Spotify, but lacking inspiration. If I Google best songs from the 70s I just get lots of good big hits, which are not always, y’know, good music.

So far I have some Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Jam, The Police, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, The Jacksons, Siouxsie, The Clash and others.
looking for good songs of all genres, forgotten gems… even cheesy pop if it’s good.

I was a teen in the 80's but either an older sister I was exposed to 70's too.

When I was about 6 I heard my sister singing Love is in the air. I said "ooh that's nice". She said "yeah I just made it up". I think it wasn't till I was late teens I realised she'd had me off
