Making a new 70s playlist for Spotify, but lacking inspiration. If I Google best songs from the 70s I just get lots of good big hits, which are not always, y’know, good music.

So far I have some Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Jam, The Police, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, The Jacksons, Siouxsie, The Clash and others.
looking for good songs of all genres, forgotten gems… even cheesy pop if it’s good.

Thanks for the continuing suggestions... had only ever expected about 40 replies initially! It's lovely that other people a) also love a bit of 70s and b) keep thinking up new tunes that hadn't been mentioned before.
Been busy this weekend, so still have to update the Spotify with the more recent suggestions in the next few days. Watch this space.
