Another one...

Our BBC Local radio station has clearly had a memo to 'be more fun', so now, instead of saying, 'Here's Jimberly with the weather' the presenter now gurgles, 'Hey, Jimberly, watchagot?' Also, 'watchagot, Timberly traffic!?' with the traffic news, etc.

Really - no that's why I said it

It is what it is

When people say "Am I the only one who..." when it's either something self-evidently popular:

Am I the only one who really likes Taylor Swift?
Literally the biggest selling artist in the world right now, so chances are no?

Or something universally disliked:

Am I the only one who really hates having toothache?
Take a guess?

in an attempt to make it all about them.

Moonshine5 · 01/05/2024 20:36

NO! I sat, or I was sitting.
And the past tense of text is texted, not text. Just because ´t' and ´d' sound vaguely similar, it doesn't make it right.
I won't start on ´can I get?'

And by far the worst for me - an adult saying "tummy" or "poorly"
