One West Midlanders here that won’t vote for Street but I acknowledge I’m in the minority. They love him round my way!

Labour have already said that they will be instructing the National Audit Office to investigate the Teesworks scandal, I imagine any re-election for Ben Houchen may be short lived as an NAO investigation is not likely to be as kind to him as the report his friend Gove received.

They might cling on but it will be because both Street and Houchen are publicly distancing themselves from Sunak

For those of you who know your cricket in a really really surreal turn of events, Monty Panesar is standing for George Galloway's party at the next election.

In a personally surreal turn of events DH personally knows Monty who is a very lovely person - but really not for politics.

His views appear to be -ermmm- somewhat unformulated.

Yes, I mean it's rank opportunism of Galloway to find a much beloved Sikh personality to stand in Southall. But he won't win.

Streets blurb doesn't mention the Conservative party anywhere. You'd think he'd started a new party from the tone.

Overall Labour are ahead on every major policy area and with each voting group except pensioners. And the pensioners are wobbling!
