Thanks @IClaudine . He treated Deborah Orr so appallingly that I admit I don’t keep track of his opinions much these days. I met him once, about 20 years ago. He was personable enough, but then I wasn’t in any sort of relationship with him so of course he would be - books to sell and all that. All of which signed copies probably hanging around in a local charity shop somewhere still Anyway, Authors I Have Met is probably a bit sidetrack-y so………
