@YaMuvva Did you know it’s national Naked Gardening day on Saturday? Do with that info whatever you want, but please make sure it’s included in the screenplay 😂

Dexterrolledoffthesofa · 02/05/2024 09:22

I thought that was yesterday? Damn, I'm going to have to get my kit off again 🤣🤣

Is the colour of the background of the screenshot here a giveaway? 🤔

No, I put all OP posts in pink, then I selected all posts by OP, then screenshotted it.

IAmRunningOutOfUsernames · 02/05/2024 22:42

She’s not me and I am not her!

PrettySenior · 03/05/2024 13:19

@YaMuvva showed no compassion for the woman using the allotment so why do posters on this thread think she'll show any for them and update (and if this comment brings her out of the woodwork in righteous indignation, you're welcome 😅).

IAmRunningOutOfUsernames · 03/05/2024 13:57

I mean, I don’t have a huge amount of compassion for trespassers either 🤷‍♀️.

I feel sorry for her that she was misled by the previous owner, but that’s who she should address her complaints to, not OP.

I don't think any compassion is owed by the OP. The trespasser's argument would be with the previous owner, not the OP.

ManchesterBeatrice · 03/05/2024 15:22

@YaMuvva Pllllleeease update. We miss you.

In part one, original post, @YaMuvva relays what happened. When they first apporached the woman trespassing "She bloody said no! And that she’s cultivated this patch for several years, she grows all her veggies here and it’s her sanctuary so if we want it we will ‘have to fight for it’! " if she had been reasonable and understood that the friend who had owned the land had sold it. They could have come to some compromise. But saying "fight for it" really shows what sort of self entitled scrounger she is.

I wish you hadn’t done that! I love that song and won’t be able to hear it again without thinking of this now! 😫😫

Sorry! I've had it in my head since these threads started! 😂
In fact I kind of assumed that's where @YaMuvva got her name from.

Mintyt · 04/05/2024 07:58

Can someone link the 1st thread please

InMySpareTime · 04/05/2024 08:10

@Mintyt it's linked several times on this thread, most recently 26 April at 14.14.

MercyDulb0ttle · 04/05/2024 08:22

How I love this thread.

Warmfeet · 04/05/2024 08:34

I don’t like this thread at all. So obvious that the seller wasn’t intending to include the allotment in the sale - just hadn’t bothered to alter the title deeds not to include it . Maybe she didn’t even realise the allotment was linked to the title deeds.

I think you’re making a big mistake. Fine, you’ll have an allotment, but if your neighbours all hate you and don’t bother getting to know you, then how much pleasure would you get from sitting in it?

if the owner meant to sell it, it would have been in the listing.

Have you read all three threads? It is clear the allotment was in the sale. If the seller wanted Barbara to have it she should have made those arrangements. There's no evidence she was not of sound mind, she sold her property and bought another somewhere else. You don't sell land by accident.

It's a done deal.

When people sell a property the solicitor sends them a copy of the entry at the land registry with the property outlined in red and asks them to review and approve it.

InMySpareTime · 04/05/2024 08:40

The owner had every chance to alter the listing, it was brought to her attention quite early on in the selling process.
Not the OPs fault that it wasn't done.
