I hope big babs hasn’t clunked you with her Stanley cup, folded you up in her deckchair or tied you up with bunting and isn’t holding you hostage in her shed and only feeding you wizened unripe veg to teach you a lesson?!

It is concerning we had regular updates that stopped abruptly, I am invested now and I’ve given your absence the benefit of the doubt that you might be busy after just moving house but it’s simply not cricket to leave us hanging like this.

If it’s the other way round and you clunked Babs with the travel cup and things got out of hand and you have had to go incognito and flee the country then can you at least NC and let us know if you need any help being smuggled over any borders?

Me too. Having an allotment of my own, I know how political and territorial plot holders can be! (Even though we have established it's Ops land, not an actual allotment)

My plot neighbour on one of my plots effed and jeffed at me, in front of my then 8yr old, just because I'd put HIS bamboo canes back on HIS plot - he seemed to think the side of my shed was also his to use as he pleased (my shed wasn't even on the boundary of the plots!) and told me if I was a bloke he'd punch me!!
A word from my DH and his attitude changed........ my neighbour was 78!!!

This thread has proved to me that we need more than a ‘thanks’ icon on this forum. We really need a 🤣 and 🤬.

I was all set to bake the amazing-sounding chocolate cake YaMuvva talked about but now can't find the recipe or remember where it was from. Can anyone help??

Yes, I couldn't see it hence asking. But have found it now.

I had a go baking the cake, but I missed out the baking soda (is that bicarbonate of soda?) by accident and it came out quite flat :(

Dying of curiosity here, and hoping the OP is ok. I think giving Babs a month to clear off was far too generous; I would have hustled her off in a week.
