At first I laughed SO HARD - wtf does low iron levels even mean? But then honestly I started to feel sad and angry that this bullshit incel culture and porn is shaping young mens approaches to what women should be.

There was a school shooter a while back who was an incel, he was autistic and the whole story was very sad but maybe if you are ND and girls keep rejecting you, there is scope for things to go horribly wrong.

Not saying that gives them the right to create lists about what they want from women, of course - but perhaps it gives a sad and lonely boy some sort of control over why he never gets a girl?

My DS has ASD and has asked loads of girls out while at secondary school (he does have high standards so maybe a bit aspirational....😀) and never gets any luck. I guess he does seem a bit 'weird' to them. It breaks my heart but I just hope things improve when he's older. But you can maybe see how some other ND kids (let's face it, some incels could just be total narcissists but I suspect a lot of them have other issues) might end up joining groups of other people with similar problems, and maybe get carried away trying to find explanations....?

TBH I think it's very insulting and reductive to use NDs as an excuse/explanations. People with NDs struggle with enough stigma,isolation,rejection and distrust without the added presumption they might become a future incel/school shooter.

I think the point she was trying to make is that people with an ASD issue will struggle with self reflection. "I like you, will you go out with me?" "No...haha" if it happens often enough then I can see how that level of misunderstanding can turn in to hatred. "I am fine, they are horrible". Doesnt have to be incel it could be racism or a work place issue. The point is that anyone with an ASD issue doesnt necessarily get the nuances and social cues. So as a result they are far more vulnerable to this kind of brainwashing.

He then began to drive through Isla Vista, shooting and wounding several pedestrians from his car and striking several others with his car. He exchanged gunfire with police twice, and he was injured in the hip. After his car crashed into a parked vehicle, he was found dead inside with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

This amount of hate and violence is not just very sad.

Oh absolutely, I'm not suggesting that most ND boys would become women haters or be violent in any way. But that one school shooter did stick in my mind - he was only about 22 and he shot 4 or 5 girls dead, because every girl he tried to get close to had turned him down or been mean to him, so he decided he hated girls.

It just made me wonder if his parents or teachers or someone could have caught things earlier, he might not not have joined the incel community and maybe things could have turned out differently.

Particularly the parts where he hates and sees himself as superior to other males , wants to attack them, attempts to attack other students and then end up murdering 6 and injuring 14. So called Alpha Males and Incels are basically the same people. They are both polar opposites of the well adjusted successful males.

The AM and Incels are both groups of men who feel inferior, KNOW tha tthey are inferior to the good men. They just deal with it in different ways. Alpha roars louder, brags, bullys, abuses and as a result of his victims (many of whom are incels) cowering to him, considers himself a winner. Deep down, he knows that he has nothing to offer but be cant face that, so he roars even louder. The fact that his wife and kids hate him, he has no friends only followers who need him for their job or home, and literally everyone who knows him refers to him as "oh....that prick" doesnt pass him by. He just ignores it.

The Incels look up to the Alpha and want to be him because he seems to have it all. But they know that they are not Alpha, cant be a bully or a bragger, so they cower. And their hatred grows. But they cant hate that which they want to be, so they hate the women that Alpha gets (pays for) because if they could get the woman then they could be him. Incel has friends but they are the same as him. Deep down he knows he is in an echo chamber but doesnt know how to get out.

Well because in my (imo obvious) narrative the guy who was egging the shooter on was NT and the guy who actually did the shooting was ND.

I was differentiating between someone who has a choice between getting out there and sorting themselves a decent life, and someone who has bought into a cult because they dont know how to relate to the opposite sex due to their ND.
