What age would you consider young to be a first time dad?

DH and I were 27 and 25 when we had DD1, who is now nearly 13 (and DD2 is 11). We were quite young... but that wasn't a bad thing. We met young, so were ready young.

I find it amusing my mother was considered quite old to have her first... at 29!

I was down in my notes as an ‘elderly’ primigravida at 28!

This was in the late 70s though.

I met DH at uni but still didn’t have my first dc until I was 31, I just didn’t want them any earlier.
