Another patient singing her heart out to Johnny Cash songs in the corridor. It's infuriating as she sings the same bits over and over again. She keeps restarting the song so sings the first verse and chorus. MAKES ME WANT TO PULL MY EARS OFF.

Can also hear someone crying.

Joys of being sectioned in a psych ward.

I've just come off another work call and it's almost 4 pm on a Friday. I need the silence.

The Piccadilly line tubes running under my house, people getting out of cars to go to the restaurants round the corner, pigeons fussing on the windowsill and some music, ever so faintly in the distance.

The wind howling around the eaves, the purr of the cat dozing beside me here in the attic.

I'm now lying in bed and I can hear my 20yo watching some YouTube video, a train in the distance, and 2 of my 3 dogs running up and down the hallway playing.

Also being hit with tinnitus now I'm not near my noisy laptop.

2 month old snoring (finally!) and birds chirping outside, neighbours dog barking in the distance and the hum of the refrigerator baby will be awake soon I'm sure....

My cat is snoring and the church bells just dinged the half hour.

Ponies clip clopping around the yard. A tractor. People chatting. Birds tweeting.

Lots of strangers chatting. Am on train to London to meet DD who is coming back from uni for Easter.

Humming and clunking from the fridge freezer. Next door’s dog yapping from inside their house cos they’ve gone out. A wood pigeon in the silver birch nearby.

Insects, red kites calling overhead, cows calling to their calves, DH building a stone wall, a tractor trundling past.

The house settling. My dog quietly snoring. Cars in the distance/outside. My phone typing tap.

The washing machine and my toddler playing and laughing away :)

The tv, the humidifier bubbling it’s steamy delicious air out, the cats water fountain from the kitchen (I need to top it up, it shouldn’t be audibly trickling), ds2 quietly gaming in his room, one of the cats have just joined me and she is giving herself a bath, oh and I can hear one of the cats crunching biskwits in the kitchen too and the cat flap has just gone so the other one must be off out for an evening walk.

I did wonder if she had started a new show 😂😂😂
