What can you hear right now?

The hum of my laptop
Traffic on the road in the distance
Birds tweeting

Birdsong
occasional traffic
a chain saw in the distance, so not annoying
an occasional moo or baa
Tinnitus, sadly.

We had one on our house one Sunday morning. I couldn’t work out where the tapping was coming from until I went outside and there was a woodpecker tapping away at our drainpipe 😂.

Right now, I can hear the tumble dryer, the dog’s little woofs as he’s dreaming and the noise of his paws rubbing on the carpet. I wonder where he’s going? Oh and now I can hear some seagulls.

Silence , I'm home alone bar the cat .

Mainly birds and the faint rumble of a road in the background. Once in a while a train and the occasional dog bark (sometimes mine).

Same. Low rumble in one ear and high pitched in the other and radio to try drown it out but today it's not working.

Can't remember what silence sounds like 🙁

Clock ticking, cat snoring, hammering outside, DP tending to his hobby upstairs when he is supposed to be WFH

The clock ticking in the room I’m in. Someone outside in the distance using a drill. The odd car driving past.

The wind outside and my DH on the phone in his office inside.

Birds singing and gentle distant tradesmen/builders noises, the odd vehicle.

I’d love to say the birds singing or the little lambs bleeting as we live in the countryside. Nope, youngest child is off school unwell so all I hear is “Chippendale rescue rangers” oh and the whir of the washing machine building up to a spin cycle.
