Aaron Taylor-Johnson - allegedly, as it hasn't been officially confirmed by Broccoli/Wilson/EON yet.

Personally I'm happy with the casting. I thought he was great in Bullet Train. I'm a big Bond fan and I'm just desperate for a new film to come out as NTTD was such a disappointment for me and I didn't like Daniel Craig.

@pinkpuppy98 I like him in Bullet Train but if he is Bond I just can’t see it. I’d prefer someone one more like Daniel Craig.

I'm not the biggest fan of ATJ (and still less of his creepy wife) I would prefer Jack Lowden.

I've never seen him in anything. I have my heart rather set on Regé-Jean Page and anyone who is not him might be a bit disappointing. Apart from Sam Heughan.

I adored Daniel Craig in the role - he brought a grittiness to Bond after the slick smarminess of Pierce Brosnan. I think they need another little known actor ... like DC was originally. ATJ gives me the absolute heebie jeebies for some reason and would be enough to put me completely off watching any more.

I wonder if they'll go flashback and start with Bond's early career....

That's a good point. I'm a bit stumped, then. I'm not the biggest fan of Rene Jean Page, there is something a bit smug and offputting about him. I would love a Black bond (I would have loved if they'd got rid of Craig far earlier and it had gone to Idris Elba) but I'm not a fan of Rene Jean. I also don't love Sam Heughan. I love JJ Feild but he's probably a bit old.

I was hoping for Henry Cavill, but I have seen Aaron T-J in something, and thought he's make a good Bond.

Rege Jean Page is a bit too sleazy, after all that bonking in Bridgerton.
