I've only ever seen him in Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging (proper film buff here!) so can't really picture him in the role. But who knows! It might give him an escape from his groomer wife.

Rege-Jean from Bridgerton has a teeny tiny little head. It's all I can see when I look at him.

I've met Jack Lowden a few times and he's lovely so I'm happy for him to get the gig.

She was 42 and he was 18 when they got together. BIG difference in scenarios between Michael Douglas and CZJ who google tells me were 56 and 31.

I think they missed out with Tom Hiddleston, suave, smooth, physical,

They met when he was eighteen and she was his boss, as it were. Creepy creepy creepy and everyone would be saying so if their genders were reversed. You can't compare them to Michael Douglas and CZJ because she was in her late twenties or early thirties when they met.

I don’t know much about Taylor-Johnson, but he ticks all the obvious boxes for the next Bond. British. Correct age to convincingly do the action sequences and to do at least 4 films (if the first one is a success) which will take 12 years, probably longer. A known quantity but not a big star. Tick, tick, tick.

They were never going to cast Idris Elba. Too famous. Much too old.

Couldn't really give a toss who the next Bond is, but I hope they keep it as a man and not try to be all woke and put a woman in the role.

I am however calling out Raye as the person who should do the next Bond theme tune. British, beautiful voice, winning lots of awards....they'd be foolish to overlook her imo.

Its about time there was a black or Asian actor playing Bond, but I would have chosen Chiwetel Ejiofor over Iris Elba, as he’s proper posh… as well as talented and gorgeous. Another possibility is Paapa Essiedu who is always funny and charismatic, like Bond used to be.
Failing that, maybe James Norton or perhaps Jamie Dornan.
