What chores have you done today?

I’ve put the dishwasher on and made my bed. Put some clothes in the washing machine ready to wash later. That’s it! I’m really bored so if I was in the mood I could get a few more things done but I have no inclination at the moment. What have you done so far today?

Hoovered, taken the rubbish down & changed the cat litter tray. Which is pretty much all that needed doing.

Prepped the curry for the slow cooker. Done a load of laundry. Walked dog for 1.5hours. Done the ironing.

Put the dishes away.
Wiped down the chopping board
Put some dry laundry away
Some admin / banking tasks

That's it. Out for coffee now and plan to go back home to clean fridge and sweep and mop kitchen and bathroom, empty the bin and that's it..for today!

Minimal - as usual!!! Tidied and hoovered the sitting room, ready for our daughter's visit tomorrow.

Been to butchers for weekend meat

First school clothes wash on of three perhaps
Cleaned kitchen and TV room from Friday night
Compost
Recycling
Going to Mae coffee and read for a bit

Dishwasher
Load of laundry washed and on the line
Been to the greengrocers

Made lunch
Unboxed deliveries

Now need to have a living room mega tidy while DH and DD1 out.

Made my bed, dusted the bedroom. Tidied living room and spare room....young grandson stayed. Cleaned tidied kitchen, bathroom I do after shower. Friday is big clean up day, yesterday was sunny,so 2 wash loads in airing cupboard out away today. DH on the other hand spent hours yesterday and today cleaning the conservatory completely. He's removed the roof blind clips (they won't go back up till Easter. Removed lamp shades, pulled out all the furniture.. now I'm getting my book out and a cuppa.

None. It’s the weekend, I like to get out and about with the family.

Unloaded the dishwasher then added breakfast dishes to it. Poured some disinfectant down the sink. Put clothes from washing machine into the tumble drier then stripped my bed and put it all on for a hot wash.

All the bins in the house need emptied. Loads of washing to be done. Cat fur on the carpets so need to hoover. Can’t remember the last time I dusted! House is generally a big tip and I have no more motivation to tidy/clean it! I need someone to call me to say they are popping round in an hour and that usually gets me motivated🙃.

Hoovered the hall and stairs. Washed the dishes. Put the recycling in the bin. Sorted litter trays.
Still need to sweep the kitchen floor and hoover the living room.

Stripped the bed, put bedding into washing machine, cleaned bathroom and now cleaning the oven

Put the food shop away, unloaded the dishwasher, put away clean pans from the draining board, emptied the bins, hoovered the stairs, hoovered one sofa, tidied my bed, two loads of washing, folded and put away washing off airer.

Still to do - hoover and mop downstairs, hoover other sofa, more washing and the bathroom could do with cleaning but that can wait til tomorrow.

Literally just the washing up and tidying away

Got a reluctant teen up and sent off to swimming with dad.

Feeling really dizzy so working out what I can achieve without too much movement of my head...

Watered some plants .

Put one item of shopping away.

Put cleaner down the loo for later.

Given I had two nights where I only got four hours sleep I am going to get some sleep and try again later.

Load of washing on, folded the dry things, online shop put away, bolognaise sauce out of the freezer for tea.
Need to strip the beds and get that on, too, before the rugby and F1

Taken the kids to their clubs and made everyone's lunch. Thats it so far! Will get tidying the play room and living room after lunch and then tackle some laundry.

Done two loads of washing and hung them out, put away washing from yesterday, unloaded the dishwasher, put loads of recycling out, did some washing up at the sink...plenty more to come unfortunately

Oh and made dd breakfast

Made bed, loaded dishwasher and put on( normally before bed but fell asleep in sofa last night), washing machine on, swept kitchen floor and cleaned kitchen, distributed clean dry clothes to bedrooms, did a food shop, watered house plants. Dog walk next.
Mundane thread subject but weirdly satisfying to list what I’ve done this morning.

Stripped our bed and put the bedlinen in the wash about to hang it out

Started the dishwasher

Done the weekly shop

I'm going to be out this afternoon, so DH can make the bed!

Walked the dog
Third load of washing now in
Cleaned kitchen cupboard doors
Meal planned and written the shopping list
Waiting on sourdough to bake and then will go food shopping
Will need to hoover and wipe down the woodwork when I'm back
3pm is my Saturday cutoff for being practical!

Stripped bed. Bunged a washload on. Went to yoga class. Hung washing out. Bunged another washload on. Had lunch. Put yesterday's dishes away.

Still to do: Go to butchers and greengrocers before they close. Cut the grass before it rains. Make bed. Tidy, hoover and polish bedroom. Do a bit more of my crafting project. Deal with post, reply to emails/messages. Evening meal. Wash pots. Nice shower and pamper before getting into a nice clean bed in nice clean PJs.

Might do: Repair cupboard door handle. Put a new bulb in the landing light. Catch up on last week's Call The Midwife.

Changed the beds.
Cleaned bathroom.
Dusted and hoovered upstairs.
Made bread (in the bread maker)
Put up some shelves in the bathroom and changed the shower head to a more powerful one.
Washed towels.
Problem is I've done everything upstairs which is lovely but it's made downstairs look even more desperate to be cleaned and tidied.
But coffee and a movie beckons.

Does keeping everyone alive and fed count?

If not, all I’ve done is take the rubbish out, although we’ve been out all morning at swimming lessons and Mother’s Day shopping. When DS2 goes down for his nap soon I’ll be making dinner (lamb hot pot) and tidying up I suppose.

I'm jealous of all of you hanging washing out. It's grey and cold and damp here
