What chores have you done today?

I’ve put the dishwasher on and made my bed. Put some clothes in the washing machine ready to wash later. That’s it! I’m really bored so if I was in the mood I could get a few more things done but I have no inclination at the moment. What have you done so far today?

Hoovered whole house, tidying as I went.
3 loads of laundry including stripping two beds.
Ironed school uniforms
remade 2 beds
made dinner for 5 and cleared up.
loaded washing machine ready for loads 1 of 2 tomorrow
done some work work (not a real chore but felt like it!)

Emptied dishwasher
Made breakfast
Emptied bins - main and recycling
Put on clothes wash
Wiped out fridge
Brushed and washed kitchen and sunroom floors
Hoovered rest of the house
Put clothes on clothes horse
Made lunch
Cleaned the inside of the windows
Cleaned outside of bay window
Baked cup cakes
Helped my husband trim garden trees and cleared away cuttings
Cleaned out the stove
Put on dishwasher

That was it for the day. I like to put in my earbuds and listen to podcasts etc. Find housework kind of relaxing!

Filled up the dishwasher and put it on (it was 3/4 full already)
Put on one load of washing 1st thing this morning and only just hung it out.

I've had one of the laziest days I've ever had as an adult today. I never got out of my pyjamas all day, just sat in bed mindlessly scrolling and watching Netflix.
Ran myself a bath and let it go cold without even getting in it so have just emptied a tub full of water.

Just not feeling it today. Not unwell, just needed a day of doing literally nothing

Mopped the kitchen, hallway and bathroom

A dark wash, dried it and put away
Washed DDs school coat
Made the beds
Made lunch, cleaned the kitchen afterwards
Sorted the recycling
Walked DDog

To do list was longer but we got asked to BILs to eat this evening so off we went!

Actually that's a lie, I hoovered a small section of the kitchen when I spilled sugar
I did also make DS lunch and dinner and feed the dog today but I don't really count those as chores.

Hoovered 3 times, washed up twice, planted a tree, done 2 loads of laundry, wiped all counters down more than once and cleaned downstairs toilet & basin. Folded dried clothes, sprayed weed killer in front garden, taken rubbish out and tidied up countless times(!). Sown some seeds and placed under lights, watered indoor plants, took dried & folded laundry upstairs to be ignored until I give in, replaced silicone sealant in bathroom, reorganised one kitchen cupboard, argued with DC about going outside in a t-shirt, put a layer of cardboard down on one part of grass in front garden and covered with soil & secured in place and made Carne Asada tacos (which I actually prepped yesterday, it just needed to be simmered for a few hours today).
These were all in between instances of playing with DC which of course, isn't always considered a chore.

Put a dark wash on (DH put it out and brought it in).
Walked the dog.
Walked to Tesco and Sainsbury's to do top-up food shopping.
Cleaned the bathrooms / downstairs loo / all internal doors and visible woodwork.
Made dinner.

It’s late now, but I have visited 2 sets of older relatives ( not really a chore but something I needed to do), did some gardening, did 6 loads of washing ( just about to hang out the last lot,) did a supermarket shop and a quick trip to B&Q, cooked dinner and painted my nails. Am about to do some yoga to counteract the effects of gardening.

Emptied dryer, done a load of washing, sorted the clean clothes and took up to bedrooms, emptied and refilled dishwasher then just finished tidying t, vacuuming and mopping the kitchen and living room. Bed time now and happy knowing there's not mountains of washing and tidying to do tomorrow!

Did the food shop and then put it away. Fed the cat multiple times. Deep cleaned the ensuite which needed it. Hoovered the upstairs. Cleared a pile of clothes from my bedroom and sorted it into recycling/donating/passing to my sister/selling. Emptied out most of my drawers and did the same. I've gone down 2/3 clothes sizes so overdue a clear out. Will do the rest of the drawers and the wardrobe tomorrow. Then I have a large storage bag of summer holiday type stuff so will need to go through that too. Made dinner. Did 2 loads of laundry, hung it up and did the ironing from yesterday. H has been on dish duty all day.

Going to deep clean the bathroom tomorrow, finish the clothes clear out and sort what I have to wear that fits, neatly into the empty space. Then just the normal cooking etc. I might make some soup in the morning to have for lunch.

Sorted out a pile of washing, put another wash on and hung that out on the airer.

I've been out a lot today.

Tomorrow I need to hoover and wash the floors.

Nothing except made myself cups of tea..and put a new toilet roll in bathroom
I'm not well with a throat and chest infection.
Family dropped me a Chinese off tonight. Only ate a tiny bit.

Washing, grocery shopping, washing up, cooking - such fun

chores-funnily enough I never skimp
on those! I’m a weirdo that loves mucking out.

Gave the house a good tidy, dishwasher and 2 loads laundry. Then tidied up the large cupboard we have that serves as a loft equivalent. Whilst I was in there fished out the Easter decorations. DD saw those so they are up already (tad early!).

Rest of day was playing with DD then back to the horse for evening stable jobs.

Really need to hoover and clean the bathroom though tomorrow. I know it’s Mother’s Day but might do it anyway.

DH spent the day doing some big outside jobs and finally getting the washing line up (not an easy task- we have an unusual garden layout) and he did the food shop.

Tomorrow I am hoping to wash and trim
horse and then sit on my arse.

Finished some painting, made a chilli, did three loads of washing, helped my son clean out our guinea pigs, got my hair cut, stripped and remade my bed,

Yesterday not much except put a load of washing on, bring in what was on the line and empty dishwasher.
Put some of that clean washing away, oh hung the next lot out.
Went with DD to do the big shop at Tesco, came home and put it away.
Left this thread open to remind me to do stuff today; emptied dishwasher, took everyone who wanted to go to church.
Today I have also cleaned both toilets, emptied and reloaded dishwasher (again), cleared sock carousel, vacuumed living room and hall, done the porch windowsills and the banisters, and got the teenagers to do the bathroom sink, shower and windowsills.
There are more things to do but not doing them right now.
