She's just popped up on my IG and gosh she dancing 10 fold tonight!!!

Dont know what it is but it all intrigues me, she looms happy enough though 💃

She says in her book that she knew Justin Timberlake was often cheating on her when they were together but she decided not to say anything to him about it. That reminds me of myself as a teenager (I'm autistic). In her case you'd expect her to have left him really, especially when she could have had anyone at that time.

I mean, she thinks she’s 20, wears clothes from when she was 20, and can only remember dance routines from 20 years ago. Also, why are people so naive as to think she wouldn’t take drugs? Even in her custody battle that was established even in 2007 the judge stated: “there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by (Spears)."

I fear one day very soon we will be waking up to sadder news than her Instagram dancing. The poor woman has serious issues.

Her appearance and behaviour certainly tell on the level to which she is mentally unwell (whatever the diagnosis may be). She doesnt appear to have moved on (in any sense) over time. Its like the last 20+ years havent, in her mind, passed. People like Pink, Beyonce, Kylie etc have all matured, but are still unmistakenly themselves. The present day Britney we see on IG however looks like someone's hungover Mum doing a very poor Britney tribute act (for a dare/laugh).

On IG she calls herself Maria River Red. Has there ever been any (coherent) explanation for that?

Wow if I thought for one minute that this was a happy woman having fun and enjoying herself I’d say go for it you only live once. Unfortunately I heavily suspect, and have for a while, that she is on drugs and slowly losing control. It’s extremely concerning as I think sadly it won’t be too long before we hear something terrible has happened to her. The price of fame, can do terrible damage to people, in my eyes nothing is worth that.

Ive just had a look at her Insta. How terribly sad. She clearly needs a source of stability and support. Not from her family obviously. And not from adulation via social media. I feel sad for her. And her kids - no kid (even as an adult) wants to see their mum acting like that.

I feel the same. I really hope we are wrong.

Genuinely, why not from her family? Because that’s who is ultimately overseeing it now. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive. It is not Britney doing it, she doesn’t have the capacity,

It’s becoming clear she absolutely is in need of full time care, and lacks ability to think rationally, or rationally understand her situation.

when her family were saying hangers on were effectively robbing her blind and she was nearing bankruptcy , it was likely correct. The fact she hates her father for the conservatoire, doesn’t mean he did anything wrong no matter what social media says or what the optics were.

anyone being sectioned would argue as Britney did. Mental health institutes are littered with people who don’t want medication, and don’t wish to be there. Doesn’t mean police, doctors and family were all wrong. My daughter’s partners brother is always doing a runner or attempting to. If he can stop taking his meds he will. He doesn’t understand. And allowing him free reign, unmedjcated would be a risk to himself and the public.

How is her life different now than before?

It isn’t.

She still basically lives in a care home, is still full time medically supervised, and has little to no independence due to lack of capacity .

She doesn’t go out alone, is seldom seen in public, all they do, and it will be her family, is try to protect her emotionally and financially and give her a life she enjoys.

which appears to amount to going on holiday, the occasional boyfriend, likely employed, and thinking she’s still in her teens and twenties and performing for her fans. Her life now is no different to what it was when the conservatoire was in place. Of which there were two, and even she didn’t dispute the medical one, which still exists.

she very clearly thinks she’s still very young, the ig dancing she thinks is performing for her fans, she talks in a child like voice. Any videos, of her talking show someone now with a very young mental age, likely max 12. Her texts on her ig reflect the same. And compounded with an overly sexualised behaviour making it all the more disturbing.

I feel sorry for her.

Her family have exploited her relentlessly, they're the last people she'll be able to turn to for help. Supposedly demented and too ill to have adult control over her own life yet not so ill that she couldn't be made to perform over and over again in Vegas?
She still supports Kevin Federline financially as far as I'm aware also.

Can you evidence that? I’m not saying it’s not true, I am saying we don’t know the full story, and social media is far from the truth, I am also saying it is very clear that she needs medical and financial management. I’m also not convinced she was “made to oerform”, she clearly loves performing, and it’s highly feasible she went into that willingly at the time.

It's a kind of 'resource trap' thing, she's worth so much money that they can only see her as an asset to exploit rather than a person- that's how it looks to me ☹️

Yes to this.

Those that support Britney saying she’s “living her best life” and hating on those that suggest this is drug induced. I agree, it’s likely substance abuse. Yes she has bipolar, and yes she looks to be manic, but with the highs come the lows, and Britney has presented like this for some years now. I’ve never known a manic phase go on for years (I am a psych nurse). I feel like she’s probably taking drugs, and this exacerbates her positive mental health symptoms.

Overall very sad.

It’s so upsetting to see. I googled photos of her as I don’t want to see the video. She does look dead behind the eyes. I really hope someone finds a way of keeping her safe.

I genuinely believe the free Britney campaign, whilst well intended was very dangerous, and was based in utter ignorance.

People attacking the family, the courts, the doctors, thinking they knew more, people only listening to Britney’s side and taking it as the whole truth and failing to factor in that she is very unwell and lacks capacity , and was behaving just like the thoudands of people in mental health units who didn’t wish to be there or on meds, her story of control was no different.

the only saving grace is her life is really no different now, she’s still well cared for, the courts and her family still have her protected, and she seems happier as she thinks she has freedom.

we see a tiny fraction of what goes on. The dancing. The incoherent text. The child like demeanour. The over sexualisation. The dressing up. We don’t see the care staff she lives with. The teams of people who manage her care and finance in the background.

I don't think the personal element was continued. The conservatorship ended and I can't see anywhere that there is a continuance.

I don't think anyone has legal control unless delegated by her - sense been able to choose her own lawyers for the conservatorship, I imagine the same for management. She was able to get married.

Genuinely and factually she has a full care team living with her, and a care manager, who she is exceptionally close to. She Even asked the woman to be her business manager when her father removed himself from the business conservatoire, the woman declined and said her focus was her care and couldn’t manage her finances .

its highly doubtful she’s on meth or any other scurrilous red top accusation. Everything is managed for her, inc her money, her guests, everything, she seldom even goes out alone. More she’s on prescribed medication for her diagnosis.

Fully agree with PP on the Free Britney campaign having been misguided. Unfortunately, she would appear to be an unreliable narrator, yet people took her version of events at face value. So we now have another car crash marriage and even more damage done to a vulnerable person. It’s really sad.
