If she were performing for herself, we wouldn't be seeing it on IG.

She doesn’t support federaline. She supports her two children. It’s very different.

To the tune of $35K a month, that Federline pushed to have increased.

When she under conservatorship she was told how, when and what dance moves she should do. She vowed that once the conservatorship ended that she would dance when and where she wanted to. It's a very sad watch, she is quite literally dead behind the eyes.

Fully agree with PP on the Free Britney campaign having been misguided. Unfortunately, she would appear to be an unreliable narrator, yet people took her version of events at face value. So we now have another car crash marriage and even more damage done to a vulnerable person. It’s really sad.

She falls far below the bar for commital or having her automony removed from her, though. Do you really think her family would have done that if there wasn't a large financial incentive for them?
I'm not saying she's a bastion of mental wellness, I'm just not convinced she's specifically worse off and I don't think she should have been deprived of her autonomy as an adult.

I’ve seen a few of her videos but just had a look at her IG. You’d have no idea that she was once one of the biggest stars in the world. She has the vibe of a wannabe OF performer in her living room. The pitchfork video was uncomfortable to watch but there was another where someone walks past in the background and doesn’t bat an eyelid at her bizarre dancing. Her makeup makes her look very tired and she just doesn’t seem well ☹️

Well none of us know what the care plan currently looks like, so who knows what decisions she is making independently and which (if any) are made for her - I'm assuming financial investments are managed as they would be for any HNWI.

Yeah. Tbh she looks like she's taken drugs or is drunk in a lot of her videos. She clearly has a substance abuse issue and that's not surprising considering her mental health and trauma history.

No, she doesn't love anywhere near healthy or living her best life.

She appears manic, under the influence of something whether prescribed or otherwise.

She also seems to have an absence of people who truly care about her mental health. She is unwell and it doesn't appear that she has the support she needs.

Your read of the situation seems very off to me.

I can't get over how well she advocated for herself at that recorded court hearing. She sounded totally with it. It doesn't really correlate with the posts she makes of herself on IG.

She looks absolutely off her face on something. She's clearly very unwell mentally. She seems to live a very lonely existence, playing dress up with her 20yr old costumes, manic dancing and in need of a good wash and grooming.

I do fear that there will be a very sad ending in the not too distant future.

Poor Britney, I think she desperately needs someone to properly look after her. Who knows what she's being prescribed. She needs medicating I'm sure but when money is being made out of your health care who knows whether what you're getting is the best thing for you. Look at Micheal Jackson and Prince for example.

I'm surprised at people saying she might have ASD or ADHD, it doesn't strike me as that at all, I just see the mania of Bipolar disorder. I know though that those with ASD and ADHD are more at risk of Bipolar disorder and that ASD is often first misdiagnosed as Bipolar/BPD.

I would guess that she may be emotionally stuck at a younger age due to trauma and that's why she still thinks of herself as 20 and dances around half naked - rather than the middle aged woman she is. I think though that she also thinks people want her to be the sexual young dumb blonde and she likes to please by being that person on the likes of IG. It's what she knows to do to get 'love' and it probably takes her back to a time when she felt happy. In contrast to that behaviour though and as a PP said - she advocated for herself very well at the recorded court hearing.

I don't know what the answer for her is now, I think she's been through too much and life is always going to be very difficult, with her just trying to get by and make the best of it.

That is clearly untrue though, as she does the exact same dancing she did before. She’s not suddenly reinvented herself. Yes she did vegas, but it was over a decade ago, meaning it was agreed at least 12 or 13 years ago. And her condition is degenerative. Her view when she agreed it, her capability is not the same as it is now. Or even five years ago.

It’s like walking into any secure mental unit and asking the patients if they should be in there or on meds, the overwhelming Majority would tell you fuck no. And put up whay sounds like a very rationale argument why they are being in some way penalised and controlled against their will. Why they should come off their meds and be allowed out.

And there is no reason to whomever mentioned it to habe her committed, why would they, she is in effectively a secure safe environment, with care providers, she has the money and the support network that she can be managed at home, she doesn’t need to be in a mental health unit. It would be easier for them if she was, but for her sake, this is th4 best for her.

You keep saying this but the only evidence is a claim from her father, not himself the most reliable narrator given the financial incentives.

Nor does she seem to be particularly worsening to me. Stuck, yes certainly, but much the same as a year ago.

You don’t think she’s worsened over the last five years to a decade? Seriously? The evidence is very clear to see. It’s not a speedy decline over a few months, but over multiple years it’s unmissable.

I've had personal experience of someone with early-onset dementia, it progresses far more quickly than that. No dancing, no posting on social media. Catatonic in a care home or dead would be the more likely prognosis in that time frame.

I think she's a bit older and left to her own devices more, mainly.

In a young person> and I’ve also had experience and it took close to two decades.

And it's been over ten years since her father first claimed that. She'd be at least at needing 24 hour carers at this stage.

I'm not going to spend the rest of the day arguing about this but safe to say I think it was a nonsense claim. She clearly has issues but I don't think early-onset dementia is what ails her.
