Who is your favourite Gladiator?

We've been watching this every week with the kids and have been pleasantly surprised that it's something that we're all really enjoying, even our hard to drag away from his computer teen boy sits down willingly.

Our family favourite is definitely Legend, he's hilarious and we all hope that when he's competing that he'll be interviewed at the end. Loved the bit where he complained about the lights being in his eyes when he failed on the Wall.

From the women it's a toss-up between Sabre and Fury. Oh to have the confidence of Sabre! And Fury is just awesome and so fierce.

Every time Giant comes on screen the rule is that someone has to say "gosh he really is huge, isn't he?"

He seems like a really nice guy when he could be really intimidating!

I love Nitro. He just seems so happy to be there. I dislike the arrogant legend. He's a twat (and yes I know he's playing a part!)

I watched a video of legend and his son doing a "favourite food" clip. It popped up on my newsfeed. He was very normal not pouting! Funny and kind. Changed my view of him. They are all playing parts. Nitro comes across well and Fury is always nice to contestants even when she knocks them down.

I did like it when Nitro did the Edge and he said he was really scared of heights but went for it anyway.

We love Giant and Nitro. Legend & Viper are funny. My DD’s love Sabre, Dynamite, Fury and Athena. Loving Gladiators, the contestants have been good too. We all sit down every Saturday evening and watch it together.

I love legend, I have watched his videos for a couple of years, and his kids are just adorable. Nitro looks like he would be great fun to hang out with. Sabre is definitely my favourite female gladiator.

I’m wondering if there’s a drinking game in this. Take a drink when Steel smiles, Giant does that pose which makes him into an inverted triangle, Sabre does her leg thing that shows off her tattoo or Legend complains that something was unfair.

Of the ladies dd likes Diamond and I like Fire, of the men we all like Giant and Nitro. Generally I think the new characters are all pretty good though.
