One at the most, often none

xyzandabc · 16/02/2024 20:55

On average, none.

I probably have 5 or 6 hot chocolates a year.

Mostly just drink water, occasionally squash. Very rarely anything else.

merryhouse · 16/02/2024 20:56

Depends whether it's an office day.

Office: Morning tea and coffee; hometime coffee; after-dinner tea; possibly hot-milk coffee in the evening

WFH: morning tea and coffee; after-lunch tea; after-work coffee; after-dinner tea; possibly hot-milk coffee in the evening

Not-work day: morning tea and coffee; post-breakfast coffee; mid-morning coffee; after-lunch tea, mid-afternoon coffee; after-dinner tea; possibly hot-milk coffee if we're not on the alcohol

If we're out at a social event somewhere all bets are off Grin

2-3 cups of black coffee in the morning
About 3 herbal teas in the afternoon. Sometimes I have a mug of hot water in the evening.

Tisfortired · 16/02/2024 20:58

I have 3 cups of tea a day. One as soon as I open my eyes (it’s the only thing that gets me out of bed when the DC are up at the arse crack of dawn.)

One in the PM and one in the evening with DP while we watch our shows.

Pebbles16 · 16/02/2024 20:59

Two cups of tea - proper builders in the UK, with a 'splash' of skimmed (outside of UK, a weak no milk affair, preferably Assam - two teas, one tea bag)
One herbal tea - in order of mint, ginger or fennel
Yes, I am a properly fussy tea monster!

CrushingOnRubies · 16/02/2024 21:00

On average 4 a day but does depend on what I'm doing

Clevs · 16/02/2024 21:02

None.

Westfacing · 16/02/2024 21:03

Five - two coffees and three teas, usually.

sciencemama · 16/02/2024 21:09

In a working day maybe three or four (only one at work)
Weekends are probably four or five
But a weekday when I'm not working could be about seven...

Jellifer · 16/02/2024 21:27

None

FasterthanaButteredOtter · 16/02/2024 21:30

One strong morning coffee then 2-4 decaf depending how busy I am/ if I'm WFH or not.

FindingMeno · 16/02/2024 21:31

4 or 5.
1 coffee, the rest decaf or tea.

JobsLot · 16/02/2024 21:32

Four on average

BobnLen · 16/02/2024 21:37

About 4-6, mainly coffee, occasionally tea or chocolate, DH has about 12 cups of tea.

Vettrianofan · 16/02/2024 21:39

2 to 3 cups of tea first thing, coffee mid morning, coffee after dinner and herbal tea before bed (sleep teabag).

Around 6 each day.

familyissues12345 · 16/02/2024 21:45

Most days, probably one - always start the day with a coffee. Occasionally I'll have another at 2-3pm depending on my mood! I don't drink enough in general which is another thread..

Amberlady · 16/02/2024 21:46

5-6 mostly decaf

Frasers · 16/02/2024 21:48

one, coffee in the morning, rest of the day, it’s water, two to three litres,

Borborygmus · 16/02/2024 21:48

Typically 9 mugs of tea per day.

confusedbythesystem · 16/02/2024 21:50

Between 1 and 3 most days. Some days none at all, just tap water, fizzy water or very weak squash.

Franklin2000 · 16/02/2024 21:50

I WFH so copious amounts of tea, maybe 6 cups. It’s either that or crisps so tea wins as I’m on a diet 😂

Countrylife2002 · 16/02/2024 21:50

I’ve had 3 teas and a double espresso before 9am! Then probably another 2 teas before lunch. Then onto decaf , maybe 3/4 . Then a herbal. So 10/11

Tarquina · 16/02/2024 21:50

Two. I have a big mug of tea every morning, and then around five pm I make a big mug of fruit tea with lemon juice. When I say a big mug I mean a pint

Purpleandredandyellow · 16/02/2024 21:53

2 coffees, two teas
