How old are you and how long have you been on Mumsnet?

I'll start... I'm 51 and I've been here 15 years.

I was thinking recently that Mumsnet has got older but maybe that's because I hang about in different corners (Higher Education instead of Pregnancy for example!) or click on threads that are relevant to my life now (pensions anyone?). I love the wide range of life experiences shared in general Chat and even AIBU.

I still remember my first thread when I was pregnant with DD2. Her nuchal scan showed a high risk of Down's and a friend suggested I hop onto Mumsnet for some advice. I was absolutely blown away by the kindness and support I received.

I know some topics can get a bit heated but I do hope newbies today get similarly warm reception.

How long have you been knocking around?

56 and here since 2005 - a few name changes tho

43, active member for 11 years, actually joined in 2007

51 and been here for 13 years or so.

I'm 49 and I joined for breastfeeding advice for Ds2 and was overwhelmed by the brilliant and encouraging responses. Terrifyingly it means I have been on here for almost 18 years.

I've been here since 2006. I refuse to give my age <coy>.

34 this year, I joined about a year ago I think. It seems longer though!! (note username is not my date of birth it's to do with a TV show)

Im 34, been on around 13 years.

Been here 18yrs, now mid 40s.

44 - and only about 6 or 7 years

As old as my tongue and a bit older than my teeth. Been around, intermittently, for a long time - I've taken extended breaks.

45. My first day was the day the shit hit the fan with the moldies. Not sure of the exact year.

38, 10 years.
First joined to get some support when my first pregnancy ended in mmc. The reassurance I got from some ladies who'd been through the same was priceless.

59 , 17 years

35. 5/6 years, I think.

I wish there was a way to know for sure though. It could be longer!

I can remember the thread that made me sign up. It had been featured in the DM. A woman was posting because her boyfriend expected her to pay for private school for his children. I'd love to know what happened in the end.

I’m 44 and 19 years, since my now 21 year old was 2 in 2004.

I’ve had a thousand new registrations in that time where I’ve forgotten passwords, changed email addresses and got too frustrated with the site to change them. I reckon a large proportion of mumsnet members are actually my old sign ups that I got locked out of 🤣

I've been threatened with being banned a couple of times but i take a break and come back all sweetness and light. Or something like that. I blame it on the menopause but truth be told I've always been a nippy sweetie. I do apologise usually, I'm not a complete arse.

40 and since 2006. Various names over the years, mainly lurking from the shadows.

51 and 6 years

I have been here for 19 years.

63 and probably about 10 years on and off. Can't even remember what brought me here as 10 years ago my youngest would have been 17! I tend to leave for a year or so and then find my way back, here and there.

I'm 52 and have been here since August 2003. I joined MN and eBay at the same time when we'd just got back from holiday, because while we were away I'd read something in a newspaper about all these new internet things! (My username history is as long as the telephone directory. If you've ever tried a username and found it's taken, it's probably me.)

63 and on Mumsnet since 2009, multiple name changes over the years. Never got involved with the mouldies thing and try not to get sucked into too much drama on or off mumsnet.
