How old are you and how long have you been on Mumsnet?

I'll start... I'm 51 and I've been here 15 years.

I was thinking recently that Mumsnet has got older but maybe that's because I hang about in different corners (Higher Education instead of Pregnancy for example!) or click on threads that are relevant to my life now (pensions anyone?). I love the wide range of life experiences shared in general Chat and even AIBU.

I still remember my first thread when I was pregnant with DD2. Her nuchal scan showed a high risk of Down's and a friend suggested I hop onto Mumsnet for some advice. I was absolutely blown away by the kindness and support I received.

I know some topics can get a bit heated but I do hope newbies today get similarly warm reception.

How long have you been knocking around?

11 years here, when pregnant with my first baby 🥰

Oh, and I'm 40

31 age. Been here about 4 years I think. Am only a ftm last month.

I went to a couple in London - bars and restaurants

There were also regular regional meet ups.

Yeah I met with a few people from antenatal boards years ago too. Lots are still FB friends and it is lovely seeing the DC all growing up.

I'm 60 and I can't remember when I first joined,but definitely before the summer of 2001.
I vividly remember the night I spent reading all the posts about bleeding in early pregnancy, crying my eyes out, as my doctor had booked me in for a scan to 'confirm my miscarriage ' . Luckily he was wrong and despite several lots of heavy bleeding my DD arrived safe and well and is now 21.

I'm also still friends with people I met decades ago on here

50 and 18 years on and off

49 and coming up 17 years.

I am, oh I will remember in a minute😁. I have been on MN since 2012.

43 and 9 years.

I’m 26 and I joined shortly after my son was born and he’s 15 months now. I joined a lot of online parenting groups around the same time. I’m a FTM and I don’t have any friends with children. It’s good to have somewhere to go for advice.
