Strange "stumbled upon" food combinations!

I'll start! I was once getting low on provisions, coming up to the big shop!
I wanted something tasty, didn't have a sandwich toaster, but wanted toasties.
So, I made corned beef and Stilton toasties, the old way, under the grill! They were absolutely the nicest thing ever!
So what's your stumbled upon strange food combination?

Baked beans with tahini stirred in. Delicious.

Blue cheese, ham and pickles with bread or crackers. Also, garlic bread with Stilton.

Plain noodles added to heinz tomato soup during cooking 😋

Crumpets and poached eggs.

Prawn, pineapple and cheese toasties. These were my absolute favourite as a child, although my DM always used to look a bit green around the gills when I ate it. It used to be my weekly treat on a Saturday in the local cafe.
I have made it on rare occasions as an adult, and it is every bit as good as I remember. It must have white bread, and the prawns and pineapple mustn't be at all soggy.

Scrambled eggs made with tartar sauce.

Ooh yes, with butter on the crumpet and salt on the eggs 😋

Strong cheddar and honey.

Don’t hate me…. Marmite and lemoncurd sandwiches 😁

I fancied both one day on toast. On a whim squished them together to try it and OMG! It’s so good!

Tinned spaghetti on fruit toast. Ran out of normal bread one day and it turns out this is delicious.

Pringles dipped in Nutella. Or any crisps I guess, but Pringles are a good shape for scooping.

I had roast beef with tartare sauce by mistake once - way nicer than with horseradish!

Wotsits and salad cream.

THE BEST.

Sour cream pringles and caramelized onion hummus. 😋

Strawberry jam and ready salted crisp sandwiches

We eat the opposite - horseradish sauce with breaded fish / fish cakes . I eat it on cheese sandwiches too .

Malibu and milk. It’s like a vanilla milkshake.

tuna mayo sarnies dipped in tomato soup

OH is away so I just had fish fingers with baked beans hash browns and kimchi. It’s the baked beans and kimchi which was the breakthrough

White sliced bread sandwich with Hellmans on one slice and peanut butter on the other.

The cheap kebab meat from farmfoods in a toasties with cheese and sweet chili sauce. So good. Or cheese, red onion and bbq sauce.

Yorkshire puddings with honey. It's pancake batter after all 🤓
Also Yorkies with any strong blue chees.

Sausages with marmalade. Game changing

Roast potatoes with humus

Yorkies with golden syrup is better.

Im quite partial to jam and cheese sandwiches.

Grated mozzarella on curry. I never would have put the 2 together until I had it on holiday once. Its a revelation!
