Dublin to Edinburgh has landed

I'm stuck in Belfast as was mean to be flying at 7pm :( it's horrendous out there and am so glad we didn't take off! Lots of the Ryanair flights are still taking off ... someone was saying that apparently Ryanair own their own steps to the plane so have more control over whether they go or not??!

The man who owns Ryanair is a money grabbing asshole so I can see him not wanting to miss out or pay any comps/fees. I don’t think Ryanair at the best for their safety before finance packages.

Dublin 2 landed

Shannon looks like it’s climbing and diverting. Another for cologne?

AgathaMystery · 22/01/2024 01:12

Kittila is on approach to Stansted now

Ishagonnaland · 22/01/2024 01:12

Late to watching the latest on FR24 …… because I’ve just flown up to Aberdeen from Heathrow. Down in a one-r, very firm landing! Shorter than usual routing - straight line north - 90 mins late departing, 60 mins late arriving!

StoorieHoose · 22/01/2024 01:12

Shannon going round again? Third time lucky?

JellicleCat · 22/01/2024 01:12

StinkyLittleBastrads · 22/01/2024 01:11

Nice job

So, now will the Stansted one land?

ademanlu · 22/01/2024 01:12

Think you might be right

Murpe · 22/01/2024 01:13

If I were on that Dublin to Edinburgh flight that just landed, I'd be very grateful not to have been on the one that departed half an hour before and is now level with Lincolnshire over the North Sea: RYR30BT

JaggyJumper · 22/01/2024 01:14

Standsted one is climbing again! What a shame for everyone travelling and all the people working through this all

Murpe · 22/01/2024 01:15

oh! RYR30BT from Dublin is off to Cologne too, to meet up with its mates from Tenerife who also expected to be in Edinburgh tonight.

fridaynight1 · 22/01/2024 01:15

Cologne is the new Edinburgh

JaggyJumper · 22/01/2024 01:15

Shannon also seems to have given up on giving Edinburgh a try too

AgathaMystery · 22/01/2024 01:16

Tenerife -LGW about to land at Stansted

Haggisfish3 · 22/01/2024 01:16

🤣😱 god I feel for all the passengers.

JellicleCat · 22/01/2024 01:17

Where is that N/A one inbound from Cyprus going that's over the Forth just now? Guesses?

PlipPlopChoo · 22/01/2024 01:17

What is the number of Shannon?

Ish …. Many Ryanair aircraft have steps fitted internally, just under main cabin door (look a bit like your loft ladder!). This means you don’t need airbridge or the wheeled steps brought to the aircraft. Airports & their ground handling agents will have wind limits for use of wheeled steps … if you don’t need steps because you’ve got your own, it’s one less thing to worry about.

AgathaMystery · 22/01/2024 01:18

Stansted about to be very busy. Kittila and then Marrakesh Gatwick flights about to land any minute.

That's shocking.
Many decades ago, a Passenger ship, the Princess Victoria {Jan 31st, 1953} sailed into the teeth of an horrendous storm - Between Stranraer and Larne.
The Poor souls aboard, No women or children survived, only young, fit men.

Risks should not be taken for profits.
