Well obviously, but e.g. could they divert any more straight to Paris without trying?

Also looks like the Wizz from Sharm has given up on Gatwick.

AgathaMystery · 22/01/2024 01:05

Today in a tight tight multi-storey car park I was stressed to f**k. These poor pilots!! I cannot IMAGINE

Trethew · 22/01/2024 01:05

Wonder if Gran Canaria willl follow Antalya to Charles de Gaulle

Whatthetrolley · 22/01/2024 01:05

SurreyMumOfOne · 22/01/2024 01:06

Looks like the two Tuis which didn't make Gatwick might be lining up for Stanstead.

slore · 22/01/2024 01:06

A flight has just left Stansted for Edinburgh. I don't know why they're bothering.

I just thought this. Why aren't they cancelling?

IceWhites · 22/01/2024 01:07

I’m a bad flyer, but fly a lot for work- went on 9 trips last year! So 18 return flights- but I think this would be enough to put me off for life if I was on any of these flights right now. Must be terrifying

So why are some landing on the first go and some not? Is it to do with the confidence/cockiness of the pilots? Or is it luck that they manage it in between gusts or something.

IceWhites · 22/01/2024 01:07

nooooo it’s taken off again!

fridaynight1 · 22/01/2024 01:08

Nooo! Shannan 😧

JellicleCat · 22/01/2024 01:08

So will the second Dublin flight make it into Edinburgh or go up again like the Shannon one?

SurreyMumOfOne · 22/01/2024 01:08

Poor buggers.

Combo of both plus experience probably.

Combo of both plus experience probably.

This and also the weight of the plane, passengers, fuel will all add to it.

I'm stuck in Belfast as was mean to be flying at 7pm :( it's horrendous out there and am so glad we didn't take off! Lots of the Ryanair flights are still taking off ... someone was saying that apparently Ryanair own their own steps to the plane so have more control over whether they go or not??!

Butterflytown · 22/01/2024 01:10

Antalya Luton just landed in Paris after 2 failed attempts at Luton and one at Gatwick. The relief!

SurreyMumOfOne · 22/01/2024 01:11

EasyJet Antalya to Manchester which was heading south again is now snowing with a driversion destination of Lyon

StinkyLittleBastrads · 22/01/2024 01:11

Dublin landed at Edinburgh

Nice job

Lunde · 22/01/2024 01:11

Antalya-Manchester is diverting to Lyon
