Easy jet from Jersey going around too at Gatwick. Interesting the comment from pp earlier about Neos..

Odd that several Ryanair flights are still heading to Edinburgh anyway.

Earlier on they were moving planes that had failed to land at Dublin, from Shannon to Dublin, when Dublin flights were still doing go-rounds. Seemed a little optimistic.

Do you think pilots are openly or secretly quite enjoying it?

GreenWalls22 · 22/01/2024 00:24

Ooof I've been watching Gatwick. That's at least 3 in a row now that haven't landed.

fridaynight1 · 22/01/2024 00:25

Gatwick landings are not going well atm

GrandTheftWalrus · 22/01/2024 00:25

I've been following both threads and keeping DH updated. I live in a flat and I'm terrified never mind the poor passengers.

I'm not going onto flight radar tonight or I'd ignore my dh lol.

RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 22/01/2024 00:25

Antalya going for another go at Gatwick.

GreenWalls22 · 22/01/2024 00:26

That jersey flight only took off 45mins ago. I'm surprised given the conditions it ever departed!

AgathaMystery · 22/01/2024 00:26

Crumbs the poor crew must be on their last wit.

JellicleCat · 22/01/2024 00:27

Seville-Edinburgh now showing as also going to Cologne. As someone said, makes sense to have two lots of passengers "stranded" in the same place

SurreyMumOfOne · 22/01/2024 00:27

Now four in a row at Gatwick and the last one wasn't a Neo.

fridaynight1 · 22/01/2024 00:27

Gatwick 3 flights in a row have aborted landings. There is a Tui from Kittila (no clue where that is) due in next

Stringagal · 22/01/2024 00:27

There are no Ryanair planes or crew in Leeds tonight, so tomorrow morning will be fun with six flights due out first thing. Planes and people are displaced across the country and continent.

Baggsy not working at any airports tomorrow morning - it’ll be absolute chaos.

JellicleCat · 22/01/2024 00:28

Am watching to see if the Dublin-Edinburgh on final approach makes it down.

FlappyFish · 22/01/2024 00:28

Nothing is managing to get down. I’m about 30 miles away and it sounds horrific outside from here.

Me too.

Where would they divert that to? Surely couldn’t be Cologne as people could be travelling without passports

SurreyMumOfOne · 22/01/2024 00:29

The Antalya flight looks like it might be giving up on the UK. Can't say they haven't tried!

IceWhites · 22/01/2024 00:29

Just Can’t get over how tired the pilots must be and cabin crew.

Ryanair failed at Edinburgh again

Didn't manage it!

YetMoreNewBeginnings · 22/01/2024 00:30

Dublin-Edinburgh is climbing again!

JellicleCat · 22/01/2024 00:30

Dublin-EDI not attempting it. Thought they were too high and they are going back up now

Others are getting down in Paris, so maybe there.

AgathaMystery · 22/01/2024 00:30

Sharm is in the willow stack. I think they might try again?

Whatthetrolley · 22/01/2024 00:31

Was about to post the same. Think they've been over England for at least 2 hours. At one point less than 10 miles from me, now a lot further away. Poor passengers. That was replying to @SurreyMumOfOne

YetMoreNewBeginnings · 22/01/2024 00:31

There’s at least 2 more Ryanair flights heading to Edinburgh as well
