I feel like I've watched every good series possible and have nothing to binge now. Help.

I couldn't possibly list everything I've ever watched but safe to say I've watched probably all the big name shows (GoT, 24, Prison break, the Sopranos, breaking bad, Outlander, Vikings etc etc) aswell as a lot of the big 90's/00's teen dramas like Gossip Girl, The OC, Dawson's Creek etc and now I can't find anything to watch.

I've googled and everything in the top 100 lists I've either seen or watched a few episodes and couldn't get into it.

So, what have you watched that might not be the post popular series but you found it great? Or what do you rewatch?

I will always recommend queen of the south, one of the best shows I have ever watched, yet not many people have seen it!

Another one for Queen of The South!

It's fantastic!

Fisk is a really good Australian comedy.

NoCheesesForUsMeeces · 10/01/2024 22:34

I love a lot of the shows mentioned. Special mentions for Kin, Grace & Frankie, Schitts Creek, Gilmore Girls, True Detective and West Wing.

One I haven't seen mentioned is a quirky little Australian show called Upright. Weird but funny.

Latenightreader · 10/01/2024 22:37

Have you seen Tenko? One of my all time favourites.

Try and get a free or limited Apple TV subscription and binge three series of Slow Horses.

Another thing I sometimes do is pick an actor or director and binge their films in a private film festival. John Cusak, John Malkovich other actors named .John……..

Shtisel. Set in Jerusalem with orthodox Jews, but it's about timeless stuff like family fallouts, getting old etc. It's really stuck with me and takes you to another world.

Call my agent is my favourite thing.

Old skool stuff like cracker, prime suspect etc can be a nice comforting watch. Nostalgia and it's amazing how much TV/the world has changed.

SpicyMoth · 10/01/2024 22:46

First and foremost, Orphan Black - I don't want to give too much away but it was originally on BBC3 when that channel existed and it's about human cloning.
Super strong female leads, tbh mostly only female leads.
The actress is AMAZING imo.

His Dark Materials, Supernatural, Gotham, Kingdom (Korean netflix zombie movie, the dub isn't too bad imo if you're not a fan of subtitles)

I also surprisingly really enjoyed the Netflix series that was based on Stephen King's "The Mist" - they ended up cancelling the series, but I still think it's worth a watch as what there is is good! :)

The Witcher, Only the first season though!

TiddlesUpATree · 10/01/2024 22:50
